Can you elaborate a little more why? Is EMUI very hard to transit to from iOS? I am using an iPhone XS Max now, although I am quite keen to change to the P30.

Collected new p30p ... not easy to use from iOS user :s22: :s12:

Android gives you a plethora of options. You can change things like animation speed or even then type of codec for bluetooth.

iOS doesn't have this level of flexibility, it can be intimidating to anyone jumping from iOS to android, not just EMUI.

Hows the P30 when compared to Mate 20? Anyone upgraded from Mate 20?

I so far using Mate20 overall is good but only problem is (could be Android Pie issue), Toggle casted to Smart Android TV, Toggle app will hang and asked me to force close (but casted video still playing on TV)..

So I can't control the video play if it 's screen go off or I switch between apps.

The Kirin 980 CPU will handle anything outside of gaming with aplomb. My old P20 Pro never had any issue with UI stuttering or any of that stuff and this phone certainly doesn't. Snapdragon is still better than Kirin for 3D gaming, if you're a heavy PUBG player or 3D gaming in general you'll want to stick with a phone with the 855 CPU, but otherwise Kirin's current-gen CPU will fly through most everyday tasks.

Battery life on the Pro is nuts, it's got like 70+% battery life at the end of the workday. I put it on the charger for a while when I get home and I don't even bother to charge it overnight when I go to sleep. Supercharge tops up the battery to 100% while I'm getting ready for work the next morning, charging is that fast.

Same CPU, worse screen, better camera? If you don't care about the camera upgrades in the P30 I'd save my money.

The settings menu in EMUI is kinda haphazard. Quite messy, but after few days you get used to it. You can always Google for help, and there's a search bar in settings for assistance.

first time on emui is there no way to double tap screen to wake or sleep ?
Settings->smart assistance->Wake screen->Double tap screen to wake.

No double tap to sleep using the stock launcher.

Battery life is amazing compared to my old LG G6.

Easily lasted the whole day without charging. Normally when I reached home after work, I still have around 50% battery life.

I don't play games though. Normally use the phone for whatapp, GAGT, reddit and surf Internet.

Battery life for me has been quite good - from 830 am this morning till now I'm at 85% still. That said I'm so far a casual user - WhatsApp, telegram, Facebook etc.

I have a question though . On Facebook messenger I had someone not connected to me send me a message, but could not open it. Unique to me?

I saw a YouTube review video that claims that Huawei phones’ battery life are so good because of the strong RAM management. The reviewer cited an example that the podcast he was listening to just stop abruptly. Has anyone experienced such issues?

LOL I saw your 70% battery by the end of workday and I look at my 71% battery and at the end of the work day.

Battery is awesome! The idle drain overnight is only 0.5-1% nia! Mind blowing!
