Huawei P30

Aggressive RAM management used to be an issue in versions of EMUI on the P20 Pro, that was fixed with a fair bit of work by turning off some battery settings. I dunno if that was fixed in EMUI 9.1 on the P30 or my old settings got copied over from Huawei's data transfer app, but I don't have this problem on the P30. Spotify goes on for hours with no interruption.

I've said this before, but battery life on the P30 really is outstanding. EMUI's RAM management+1080p screen+giant battery means I don't need to charge in the office or even overnight. I plug the supercharge cable in when I get ready for work in the morning and I head out the door with a full battery.

Can you elaborate a little more why? Is EMUI very hard to transit to from iOS? I am using an iPhone XS Max now, although I am quite keen to change to the P30.

It's just a matter of getting used to it.

Saw someone post this on another forum and realised i have the same issue - on the p30 pro, when you take a photo you're asked to stabilise the camera as it's sharpening the shot. This isn't always possible due to unstable hands + moving subject, and the image comes out blur.

Is this a setting thing?

Normally my hands will be shaking too but the processing of the image turns out ok. How blur is blur? Care to share?

Same for my P20 Pro. Quite annoying imo.

I think it happens only when in low light situations. Wonder if there are settings for it. It still appears even with Master AI switched off.

Does anyone have any issues with their IG cutting off left and right edges when viewing stories?

Coming from years of iphone, i absolutely love p30p but im so annoyed with the IG crop. i cant read whatever is on IG cos the screen isnt optimised >.<

Lots of people selling for around $200.maybe can get for $180 if seller desperate enough.

I am wearing mine though. Really nice display and awesome battery life. Still wearing it after 1st full charge last Sat.

With continuous heart beat tracking only drop 10% per day so can easily last 10 days.
