Current P30 Pro users, are you going to upgrade to P40 Pro or P40 Pro+ (in June)?

P40 Pro has same 5x optical zoom as P30 Pro.. bigger sensor, more gimmicks (like the remove passerby feature) but I don't think it justifies the exchange with having no more GMS. May as well stay with P30 Pro.

P40 Pro+ on the other hand has 10x optical zoom but no more GMS. Of course probably in the range of $1.6k..

What's your take?

Actually the pro+ has more than just the camera upgrades. There's also better processor, higher screen refresh rate, wifi 6 etc to consider.

But the main hurdle would probably still be absence of gms.

If those European starts ditching Google apps and GMS. Google will be losing money due to Dotard ban.

no issue with HMS for me...so far only 1 app cannot be side load only

p40pro + imo is got money or love chase tech can get
current economy i better save for raining day haha

It works just need to side load it. I did the same on my mate 30 pro 5G.

u mean just side load Android Auto apk on a stock Mate 30 without GMS will work? Even without Google Maps installed?

Never installed GMS ,without google pay so need to bring credit card along
At least Singtel dash can be used for transit
Other than google related apps , no issue
For calendar, backup and save the file on Dropbox
