Currently using this with citi premiermiles. If I switch to citi rewards, my premiermiles will be stucked. Or can they combine for the miles?

they are 2 totally different citi schemes, and Citi don't practice pooling for all cards anyways

Amaze fx rates sux. Used it a few days ago in JB and compared it against Revolut the same day, the diff quite big. Amaze's rate was 3.30X RM while Revolut was 3.38 already. Terrible.

Agree. But most bro already listed this fact, use amaze if and only if u got other perks in using other MasterCard.

Still not worth right even if I pair it with the Unlimited card with 1.5% cashback.

Because people don't do that, we get 4 miles per dollar so even 2.5% difference in exchange rate is still OK for us. If not for Amaze, we will need to pay 3.25-3.5% for that 4 miles per dollar.

What I find extremely objectionable is that Instarem has gone ahead and increased their spread, or added on or are passing on some fees to customers - which they weren't doing earlier - and they haven't bothered announcing it at all.

Anyone knows if this Amaze card overcome the payment restriction by some US retailers? Their payment can detect overseas-issued credit cards and block purchase, only can use US cards I think.
how can Amaze do so if the payment gateway filters by card number? It is still a singapore issued card number. I guess you have to try

Can only think of this logical reason if u are asking in this forum since none of us are tech support from insta.

I have always had a problem with petrol transaction in JB, after the Aug 22 Amaze upgrade. Hence I had used other cards, instead of Amaze since Aug 22.

I suspect overseas petrol transactions havent been properly coded by Amaze.

I pumped shell, but without triggering the RM 200 pre-authorisation. Friendly cashier just activated the pump for me, without pre-authorisation. Maybe that confused Amaze? Haha.......
