Yes I checked thoroughly before agreeing to take the set. Scratches on the outer frame. Camera whether got dust. Camera whether working. Speaker working. Vibration working. All the usual stuff.

Anyone got the display uniformity problem? I checked on my Pro Max and seems like the bottom part of my screen is brighter than the top, got some sort of grey color gradient starting from the bottom then goes black when top of the screen. Not sure if I should exchange... although I bought mine from telco

No issues on mine, also from telco but at Singtel’s launch event.

i exchanged my for dead pixel. was told because its a newly bought phone, they 1-1 exchange for me. after a week any screen defect will be repair

They will first inspect your phone physically, checking your screen by looking at it. Then they might run a diagnostics test to check if your screen is faulty. If no fault found, they might not replace it. But looking from my case on previous send-ins of my iPad Pro (2017) twice in during warranty period due to a brighter spot on screen about one inch from the home button, they replaced it 1-1 due to it being a hardware issue.

But a 1-1 exchange would mean them giving you a new replacement set (in a white box), not a retail set.

Depends on what spoil. I’d screen issue will be repair. My XS got few bright lines but cannot be seen in naked eyes, their system shows no issue and they cannot see but I told them say got, and they say if I want to proceed have to do a repair and not 1 to 1 exchange

Of course I rejected cause I don’t like phones to be opened although is Apple themselves. From what I know is that if open phone gone case already

Gone case in what way? My X during warranty period camera faulty and they replaced the camera module, and just before warranty ended I got the battery replaced during the battery replacement program. Both needed the phone to be opened and so far so good.

anyone used icloud backup for your new iphone? i did that but my apps still not finished downloading even after 3 hours.. phone's not running hot and wifi is full bar so idk what's the issue here

Are you backing up or restoring your iPhone? Sentence 1 and sentence 2 together makes it very confusing to understand.
