The thing about innovation is not only about technology or new features. It’s more like how the feature is implemented and influence the user’s life.

People keep bashing on the XR but it is the best selling smartphone since it’s launched. That’s innovation and knowledge about influencing the consumer. Apple doesn’t need to deep dive into specs but they know how to manipulate the market and sell their products.

likely to be the same. have to wait for tear down.

i think they might have hit the limit thats why the rest jus ML the sh!t out of 9 photos to produce 1 photos.

limit? e Mate 20 Pro a 1 yr old phone shipped with a 1/1.7 sensor. it's one of e main reasons it takes good photos.

dunno. maybe Apple already ordered to many of the same sensor and its late to change?

new sensor requires quite a bit of redesigning.. i dunno~ :(

but got to give it to Huawei and their RYYB sensor. thats innovative.

maybe the redesign will have bigger sensor and camera bump~

Sensor size is one thing. ISP is another which is equally important. If one is able to achieve excellent image output with smaller sensor using better ISP, there is no reason to upgrade the sensor.

Meanwhile, RYYB sensor may be good on paper but output still not to everyone taste since the photos are more yellowish.

Is it used by most pro photographers? No? Then it is not good enough.

Hmmm iPhone 11 still with only 4GB ram on a 2019/2020 handset with basic storage at 64gb. Abit of a joke for the price being asked for. Flagship Android phones are already 8gb to 12gb ram and 128gb storage expandable. I would think Apple should at least give consumers 5gb ram if 6gb ram thins their fat profit margin too much.
They don't even dare to state the ram on their official technical specs on their website.

Still using lightning connector when their iPad pro is already on USB C which is superior. Apple seems unsure what they want to do.

Why do you need so much ram?

iOS is diff from android. 4GB is more than enough for the phone. My XS i game and multi-task and it still never lag on 4GB.

Btw, pixel 4 is like on 6GB only. 8GB/12GB to show off????

But the way iOS work, you already have extra running with 4GB. Pro have 6GB so that you can show off.

Pixel 3/3a running 4GB and they can perform faster and better than others.

When you pay so much you expect only the best. It's true that iOS can work well with less RAM due to much better memory compression of background apps but it will still be nice to have more RAM for future proofing.

Then again, iOS multitasking (app suspended in background) is still different from android true multitasking (literally apps are still running in the background as if it was open in the foreground, albeit comes with greater battery consumption). So even with more RAM iOS may not fully utilise it also.

So ya, it can't multi task so well, so give you more than 4 also no use.

Only thing that i do not like the 11, pay so much, still get a 720P display.

THAT I CANNOT UNDERSTAND.
