The right way to charge the battery is never to let it drop below 50%. The worst is really really to let it die unless you have no choice.

Battery cycles are not counted per charge but on the basis on ‘how many 100% cycles there are’. Not too sure how to explain this but it’s something like that

I keep my battery at 100% as much as possible. Charge at work , charge at driving etc

But most impt, don’t charge when gaming.

My previous iPhones are always 100% after 1 year and once 99%

My wife’s previous iPhone XR does not follow any charging pattern or whatsoever. Well you know for ladies, charge as and when etc. 2 years later, 97%.

Her previous previous iPhone 7 did the same. 3 years later.... 96%.

Lucky much?

I took over the 7 and 1.5 years later 75%.

Can’t make any logical sense out of it...

For me I attribute it to the apps. I install only basic apps and not mainstream media apps like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, that work on the background. XS MAX since 2018 still 96%. Hardly play games.

No I don’t. But recently battery keep dying so I had to perma plug in the charger. It’s like when I use the iPhone 7, I need to charge every 2-3 hours.

Basically this was my iPhone 7 life-
1. 9am go office. 100%
2. 11am have to charge 30mins otherwise lunch time phone sure gg.
3. Come back lunch then at 3pm charge again.
4. 530pm charge again otherwise go home time sure die.
5. After dinner 8pm charge again.
6. Before sleep charge overnight otherwise battery will auto die in the middle of the night then morning no alarm clock.
7. Revert back to 1.

I don’t game on the phone. Damn sian the life. Like perma battery dependent.

Did you read about this somewhere? A lot of theories about this battery saver thingy. From what I know and read, it’s good to charge till 80% only to save battery life. Once in awhile then I’ll charge to 100%.
