Anyone experienced when restarting iPhone, or when iPhone is booted up, the Apple logo will come on very fast and then go away (like a flicker) and then the logo will appear again and stay there for a short while and u see your Lock Screen. Wonder what’s with that short appearance of Apple logo at the initial startup

I also observe the same while doing a check upon seeing your post. Have you escalated this to Apple and got any response ?

Are you guys facing intermittent hanging / freezing issues with your new iPhone 12 Pro | Pro Max models ? It is quite annoying and to resolve the issue we need to reboot the phone after which it would work fine for some days and same happens again

No such problem. Only posb heat up the damn iPhone so much.
thanks bro.. There were some weird issues going on and I don't think its a hardware issue as the phones were replaced thrice by Apple and possibility is a software or some sort of memory leak.

I set up the phone as new and there was no data transfer done even for the apps. I was using the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max and both are having issues. When the issue happens:

1. Cannot download Apps from App Stores

2. Cannot send/receive new emails in the default IOS Mail App

3. Photos/videos cannot upload to iCloud but no issues with OneDrive

4. Settings get time to load occasionally

5. Navigate to Settings and choose any installed apps to view my specific app settings, the screen just freezes

6. While doing call with Apple Support at the time of issue, they won't be able to do a screen mirroring even though I allowed it when the option pops up in my phone

7. Based on my experiences it would start with any one App and affect some other apps. It could start with any random app either an inhouse IOS App or third party banking or social apps. Once the issue starts, it affects almost all the default IOS Apps and I won't be able to even connect to Software update Server for checks. The latest issue started when I made an attempt to download an App from App Store as mentioned in the point 1. The download failed from App store and after that issue started spreading to multiple apps. For example if I Went to the Gmail App and tried to Add another mail account. It hangs and don't allow me to add new email account. While facing this issue when I try to launch some Apps for example Facebook Citibank etc. (it could be any random app) it just freezes, and all the issues reported from point 1-6 starts popping up. At the same time some Apps work perfectly fine. I can watch videos in YouTube and all at the same time.

8. Once I reboot the phones all these issues get resolved and it would work fine for some days before the same happens again. This routine cycle has been going ever since I upgraded to the new series of iPhones.

The only thing that I need to replace now is just SIM card and not sure whether any variations in the mobile signal strength affect the performance.

Note: My iPhone IOS and all installed apps are up-to-date

Just find it odd that the market reception to the mini has not been that good.

I always thought there was people (like me) who liked smaller phones. Am hoping that this year’s new iteration will include mini also.

There was report that apple shifted around 2M Mini production to iPhone 12/12pro.

I haven’t escalate to Apple yet. Was thinking of checking it out and see if there’s others who had same issue. Combed through forums, googled for it and only you encounter the same experience as me. Probably wait for the next iOS update to see if it improves. Phone works fine for me so far

Maybe because of battery life, which is the Mini’s Archilles’ Heel.

Been facing this issues previously and reported quite a few times. But recently , the problem seem to be gone after reporting to apple.

I never experience most of the issues which were raised in this forum (with the most ultimate one asking about ways of polishing hairlines off the phone’s metal edges... 😳 #itsjustaphoneforgodsake) *touch-wood*... nevertheless, my iPhone 12 Pro Max is progressing twds half of its life cycle - another few more months to go before changing iPhone 13 Pro Max.
