Everyone experience is different. I am thinking whether it is io6 or iPhone 5 that causes the battery to drain like nobody businsss.. Some reported that after upgrade to iOS 6 on iPad and iPhone 4s and below, battery also drained

So it maybe ios 6 and not iPhone 5

You could be right, because after i upgraded to ios6 on my 4S, the battery drained quite fast than normal. iPhone5 battery life i would say still better than 4S.

Not if it's me but whatsapp seems to be the key cause for my battery drainage. All those folks who have battery issues, I wonder if all are on whatsapp frequently.

I strongly think it is whatsapp. Mine also using whatsapp with no LTE enable. Drain like siao.
My previous N8 is a complete joke when the OS is still Anna. With Whatsapp running, I can only use the phone for 2 hrs and complete flat. Worst is that the phone is really hot. After upgrading to Belle, the battery life is better.

Just now I fully charge my phone at 5.07am as I plug out the charging cable.
I check at 7.15am, left 96%. 4% drop in approx 2 hours.

Please take note that signal coverage is important, if the signal is weak, battery will tend to drain faster which is normal. I have done some simple test on my iphone 5.

m1 user here

Day 1 12am-6am, 100% full charge with 3G turn on (3 bar), battery drop to 94%

Day 2 12am-6am, 100% full charge with airplane mode on, battery remain 100%

Day 3 12am-6am, 71% charge with airplane mode on, battery remain 71%

My battery life was ok. With moderate usage, surfing net etc, I can last the day with 20% battery left.

Hmm I am beginning to suspect whether those experiencing batt issues are the starfug sets? I am a starfug user myself and seems to be experiencing the same from most users here. Like one fellow suggested, could be due to the weak signal and hence our phone constantly search for LTE etc? This is because my friend on Singtel can have his batt showing 100% even with LTE on for half a day without any usage. End of the day still like 80% batt left compared to me left 30% with light usage.

Mine this morning 100% when removed from charger at 7.10am ... Now left 96% with just one incoming SMS. :(

Read one of the bros mentioned.. Shall not bother too much of the battery life..

Use it happily and enjoy the phone.. Just bring along external battery (eg. Yoobao 12000mah ext battery) and cable for "extra power juice" anytime...

Yes, when I switched from ST to M1, battery life drops noticeably. Must be M1 have fewer base stations. No other issues with the switch though.

92% - 10.03AM
85% - 10.29AM

I believe that whatsapp is the one draining my battery. Started using whatsapp at 10.03AM till now 10.29AM, battery drained 7%.

It's not the StarHub sets for sure. It's the StarHub service. The phone doesn't search for LTE, but struggles to find the immensely crowded 3G base stations. Sucks.
