Today use my iPhone 5 for the first day with 100% at 8am+.

I do notice the battery drained real fast and ard 3pm+ I am already down to <20%.
During these period of usage I occasionally check mails and light surfing the net and whatsapp group chat.

Not sure if this is normal but my prev iPhone 4 seem to perform better.

Perhaps the battery need to cycle a few times before it can be optimized?
Also regarding whatsapp, I have colleagues on s3 and prev iPhones that complain that it's a battery usage hogger!?

whatsapp + 4g here, no problem at all :o

Seriously, please use the phone as per normal. Stop worrying here and there and forcing yaselves to stop using Whatsapp, 4G and etc.

A phone is meant to be used and enjoyed, so please just use it normally.

Run out of battery, just charge. Buy extra charger to office will do.

Sheesh.

100% at 2pm
In between used very little until 4plus surfing.
After 5pm few wassap, surfing
Now 945 left 15%

Total usage 4hr 12 min
Standby 7hr 32 min
Mine StarHub so no LTE.
Whatever I can off I off except find my phone.
Can really see the drop when in use. But standby is good.

Anyone feels that voice calls uses alot of battery? On 3G network a 30 minute call saps 10% of battery. 1 to 5 minute call sure sap 2% at least... so sian to see the batt drop so fast

Everyone experience is different. I am thinking whether it is io6 or iPhone 5 that causes the battery to drain like nobody businsss.. Some reported that after upgrade to iOS 6 on iPad and iPhone 4s and below, battery also drained

So it maybe ios 6 and not iPhone 5
