Water resistant, not waterproof. Which is why apple declined to repair.

i have two friends who one accidentally splash water onto the phone 7 plus during his bath (but quickly cleaned off)and the other just used it to take picture at the pool. Both cases, water enters the iPhone 7 plus. At Apple centre, they refused to exchanged citing water was found inside the iPhone. No matter how they argue, they didn't get the FOC repair (its still under warranty). So iPhone so called water resistant is quite subjective. Best is not to have the iPhone dropped into the water or using it to take underwater pictures. If you can get a refund, please let us know here because both my friends failed.

What you said is correct. Unfortunately, the rest of iPhone models will be down too. This will happen when demand and supply stabilized. So no need to panic.

It’s still $1648 for 64GB and $1888 for 256GB on Apple website. I haven’t seen any price drop yet.

where did you purchase it? if via 3rd party vendors then llst, just use a case to cover it.

Apple store.
Replacement also got scratch but decided to ignore it since the replacement set has a much better screen.
Original set’s screen was too warm and have more blue shift.

He is referring to dealers buy back pricing for brand new set. Mostly from cust. purchase via telco under recontract deals. its normal to expect that kind of pricing.

Bring out the manager to talk.
Just let her know once refund, u can do anything with the money.
She has no reason to stop u from getting another X with the refunded money.

Thanks VodkaPear, today went down and managed to see another advisor. He is very helpful and helped me get replacement for my iPhone X. Went back to test and everything is fine now (including the colors - all good). He said if within 14 days any problems, just come back and no need to go thru` Genius Bar - just simply walk in and see anyone at the ground level for help.

if u go street like mobile shops RWm, kasia all 1.4k for 64gb.

these are mostly units from telco recontract who doesnt need the phone so sell cheap to these street shops

How come big store like best and Apple store iPhone X sold like hot cakes daily in RRP price no one mention it.. but only mentioned the price drop at 3rd party shop? Only Want to say the negative but not the positive?

There's nothing wrong, it's normal for all electronics, not just mobile phones.

Any user facing VoLTE problem on starhub.

My cellular calls are dropping from 4G to 3G even to another iPhone user using starhub and have VoLTE. Funny thing is when the person call me, the person iphone didn’t drop to 3G. Tried swooping SIM also similar so ruling out phone issue.

Went to starhub change SIM also same issue win.

more like its star hub spotty signal in your place.. I have same issue with M1 last time specially near my work place.. I switch to Singtel now though.

Tried it at multiple places. Same issue. Highly gonna switch soon.
