iPhone X problems faced

This is exactly what i had a few days ago and I highlighted here but no-one seem to have the same issue. Anyway, it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. I attributed to Whatapps issue. So far, I cant duplicate the same issue again.

My wife set got this issue with we chat too.. The text box anyhow jump..

For my case, im on apple music, the moment I off the screen, the music will pause, then I need to on the display and resume the music
Previously, no issue with ios11.1, only experience it after updated to ios11.1.1

it's a bug, encounter it 2 times. restart phone will be fine.

nope not restoring anything



tapping is almost instantaneous. same goes for power button, it's just that once in awhile when i press the power button the screen doesn't light up, when i press again it lights up then off (like i pressed twice)

it's always that once in awhile, knn if go down apple shop also dont know how to show them the issue, must stand there keep spamming until it happens



apple pay, lift to wake / tap to wake all disabled since day one

Suddenly the issue seems to be gone.... should I just go ahead with the exchange?

Just continue to use the phone and ignore the slight paint drop.

Getting a wireless charger helps so that you deal with the lighting port lesser.

Nice one. Me using the original Apple leather case with speaker and charging port exposed. Now the bottom stainless steel all scratches over. And no screen protector too lol

Bro, it really looks like paint drop. Perhaps you can call up Apple hotline and see what they can do about it? A 1-1 exchange perhaps? So space grey sets will have this inevitable issue unlike silver sets. But surprisingly, demand for space grey sets seems to be higher. As can be seen from dealers offering a higher take in price for BNIB space grey sets.

Yours shld be silver set? Then it can be easily diy buffed off with cape cod polishing cloth. Can google. I use it to buff off slight scratches on my watches and iPhone 7 jet black bottom part with ease. I’m also using Apple leather case.

Sad to say, space grey set iPhone X can’t use cape cod to buff off as the colour would experience more paint drop.

Sorry guys, you are out of luck trying to exchange a phone due to paint peeling in Apple Orchard.

My iphone 7 jet black have paint peeling on the right side of the bottom speaker. Went to Apple Orchard, they classified as cosmetic defect, which are not allow for 1-1 exchange. That guy who served me even said he can't send in or request because his ipad doesn't have this cosmetic issue option. He asked if i have other issue so that he can key in and send in my phone. Else if your phone is in working condition but only paint drop, sorry, no exchange for you.

Unless, if you have apple care, then it's another story.

Also, if Apple Orchard reject you, try going to A.lab and QCD and let them have a look.

Phone is within the return period lol. During the convo I sent them the condition of the phone also
