Quick questions.

If I call M1 to change my SIM to an eSIM, but I delay the installation of the profile or whatever that is, will my current physical SIM not work? I am thinking of calling in to change but I won’t be able to install the software for a couple days. Will I be SOL then?

And after I convert it, does it mean my physical sim is now useless and no longer usable ever? Not even if I want to undo (eSIM back to physical SIM)

The switch to esim will invalidate the current sim. Next time when you want to switch back to physical Sim, a new card will be issued.

Yes. If u want the physical SIM still in function, you should consider multisim service

Did anyone compare the speedtest for Esim? I found my esim speedtest is slower compared to standard sim. Esim on iPhone, standard sim on android

Isn't speed test best done with similar device under the same environment?

Yup i agreed that, but because it's difficult to remove the psaj, so i use another phone to compare. Anyway I disabled the second sim on the iphone, and the speed now better 40-50mbps average.

Sorry to bother but for WhatsApp, there is still no solution for two phone numbers on a single iPhone, right ? Cause I need WhatsApp for both the physical SIM number (Singtel) and the eSiM number (M1).

I’m existing m1 user. Basically i have to drop by m1 and ask for physical card change to eSim? And then i can use my spare sim card in the sim card slot right?

Does the dual sim works like android?

Is there any sumarize on how the eSim works?

Try WhatsApp business can run concurrently with normal WA. . It’s in beta now. Need invite. Google wabetainfo need to use discord to get immediate notification once the beta invite is available.

I am using it now. Sadly iOS WA business still beta. Android already had it for a year.

When you call ask cs, also ask for the charges, depending on your luck, you'll be told either of the following
1) pay S$37.45 +S$5( activation fee)
2) pay only S$37.45 sim change fee
3) pay S$5 activation fee with sim change fee waived
4) pay nothing cs waived off everything for you (may subject to this if your account may be met with certain conditions)

When you change esim, existing sim will be voided. If you want esim and a physical Sim, it is multisim monthly paying extra S$10.70/sim, can only be done on shop.

Want to know dual SIM, check the link to apple article posted earlier in this topic or just google dual sim iphone.

Any charges?

Btw how the dual sim work? Same as android?
