Hope you tell them off if they ever ask you for a reason for jumping ship. Singtel is too complacemt.

Even if they did, doubt they will do anything about it, i jumped ship 2 years back got a call and given my feedback and now 2 yrs later, gomo only came out recently, still no plans for moving 3g 12 gb plans to the next tier. Not sure if they restored the 3g coverage which is the main reason i jumped.

Number porting is easy. Just make sure you don’t terminate the line before it got transferred to the new telco. Also watch out for your contractual period.

How does esim work (activate via qr code) with these scenarios :
- existing phone (that activated esim ) lost
- existing phone (that activated esim) reformat
- change new phone and want to use back existing esim number

Divorce supposed to be expensive.. I’m actually from France and need my French and Singapore number on my
Iphone and either France telco or my Singapore telco do not provide the eSim... I heard that French telco will have eSim in September with the new iPhone... I m wondering if this might also be the plan of singtel.. because having the eSim now or in few weeks is pointless.. with new iPhone they will use this as a commercial advantage..

Just realized between physical SIM and eSIM can only choose one iMessage. Ha.

Singapore M1 has eSim service. U may want to consider to switch your Telco?

If you're willing to pay the penalty for early termination of current ST contract, you could port out to M1.

Yeah... I'm willing to pay the esim for people who travel a lot or from overseas make things easier.. alot of telco in thailand have it even maxis in malaysia what singtel is doing...

No need dual SIM to use 2 WhatsApp account. 2nd account just need to setup one time (can receive code on another phone)

762$ for termination.
They transfer me to the "retention department" and asked me "why I want to terminate?"

I explained to them "I thought SingTel was the greatest telco in SG but in fact, after 2 yrs it's not..." and that they are unable to provide an ETA for the eSim... and then he asks me if I want to re-contract for combo and get 100$ off... I almost died when he said that... they don't even listen to me...

Foreign should get advise on telco... I didn't know SingTel was that bad...

when launching WAB, you enter the second number, it'll sms a code to authenticate.
Technically, that second number's sim card do not need to be inside the phone which you have WAB installed.

for m1 case
1.call m1 to suspend line.use m1 app to reinstall profile,$5
2.use m1 app to reinstall profile,$5
3.assuming iphone to iphone, use iTunes for full backup, the e sim profile should restore to the new iphone also
