Yes. Saw it on App Store finally. Transition to one phone is completely :)

Mmmm. Moving from WA to WA business means the backup for WA cannot be restored to WA business ?

Depends if your previous WA backup was in iCloud or not. If from Android then no. Won’t be able to restore.

Thanks to the nice peeps, was casually browsing and realised wow there’s WhatsApp business!

I managed to install on my 6s and I’m now getting WhatsApp from 2 different numbers! Really neat feature.

1) search for WhatsApp business and download
2) enter the number you want to use as WhatsApp business. The number don’t need to be in the phone itself. Only need to receive sms code can alr (I tried TPG number, somehow it didn’t get a code)
3) follow the SOP and viola! It’s here now

Sweet!

Anyone knows for M1 esim, if I backup to iTunes, factory reset the phone and do a restore, will the profile for the esim still be there?

M1 told me it will not be there and there will be a $5 charge to download again, while Apple support told me it will still be there.

Restoring the phone does not delete the eSIM profile. M1 CS is wrong.

The only way to erase the eSIM profiles is in the device's settings.
You need to go in Settings > General > Reset.
There, you have two choices:
- Tap Remove All Data Plans, then restore by any method or;
- Erase All Content and Settings, and click "Erase All" when prompted.*

I think the M1 CS is just being conservative, if they claims it will work but user do not have a properly done backup to restore from, end up got charged for reactivation, and if the user file dispute, it will be to the CSO's disadvantage.

i dont hv a choice but just keep waitin, 700+ is too much :( ST is too late on the esim not sure if they hv plan to do that anot?:s11:

762$ for termination.
They transfer me to the "retention department" and asked me "why I want to terminate?"

I explained to them "I thought SingTel was the greatest telco in SG but in fact, after 2 yrs it's not..." and that they are unable to provide an ETA for the eSim... and then he asks me if I want to re-contract for combo and get 100$ off... I almost died when he said that... they don't even listen to me...

Foreign should get advise on telco... I didn't know SingTel was that bad...

Does anyone know how will iMessage look with dual standby SIMs?

This is how it will look like for the Settings:

The selecting of ‘Caller ID’ is the same as of which number should it be sent from.

Imessage cannot support dual sim. Nothing is change interface wise. Whatever line you've set as the default will be used for imessage only. See tec_geek bro's screenshot.

SMS is dual sim capable, meaning, you'll get sms(green) into message app like normal, I'm referring to receiving imessage(blue) is still limited to the single line although you get to select which one from settings.
Oh so for normal SMS is not dual standby?
