If you enter Meiji Jingu from the north gate (alight at Yoyogi stn), you will complete the visit at the south gate, where it is connected to Yoyogi Koen main entrance. Or u can start your visit first with Yoyogi park(alight at Harajuku stn etc) then enter Meiji from North gate or west gate.

Yoyogi also can be enter from the north via Sangubashi.
Mid-dec can't really see koyo in full colours liao. But still can see random trees with red leaves here and there.
This was what I could still see (just a small area like this) when I was there at Shinjuku Gyoen 15th Dec last year:

But majority either just green or bare liao, like this:

Takeshita Dori street shops open 10+ or all open at 11am ar?
btw mid dec go hor.. wat type of attire towear? is it very cold? nee wear down jacket ar?
I wore t-shirt as base layer, with a fleece jacket. Add on windbreaker if the wind is very strong. Usually when the temperature is low and it's windy, it's the wind that's making you feel really really cold.
I had to buy heattech leggings there too, as my jeans wasn't enough. Wore uniqlo gloves there as well, but they were pretty useless when dealing with the cold, apart from the fact that they can hold hot cans from vending machines with ease. End up I bought some heat packs from the convenience stores there and put them in my jacket pocket for my hands.
I don't find down jacket particularly useful, even though I did bring it with me. Fleece is a lot warmer for me.
Bring or buy body lotion there. You'll need it. Otherwise you're gonna get hit with really dry skin all over from the middle of your trip till a few weeks or months after you get back.
wau lau down jacket also bor use ar
I get those from Decathlon, e.g.
