I can quite assure you it won’t take much data.

It’s the video and photo that eats up data.

You can Google, average 2-5MB per hour of usage for Google Maps. That’s so so little.
Okok thanks for info! Then prolly 1gb/day is sufficient..

Roughly 500mb or 0.5gb per day should be more than sufficient for most ppl. Unless they like to play mobile games or update social media on the go, that sort of thing.

1gb/day is good. I usually get that if the price is reasonable for what sim I want to buy.

Yes. I’ll probably do 1GB (or 2) for my trip in a couple weeks.
@dude123 just got back from Japan.

Reporting to say I would do 2GB/day for the next trip because Google maps “Live View” feature eats a little more data and I upload photos/videos to Instagram. I would end the day with 800-900MB so it’s a bit tight.

ok probably i will get 2gb/day. I did saw some selling unlimited data with a drop in speed after 1gb or 2gb is use up..rather than left without data..
Agreed, I used up 1GB on two days.

Was still able to use Google Maps to get directs but had to wait much longer for results to show and this delay adds up when you’re used to getting details fast and moving off. Still usable, just slow.
