Don't have, but can try other clubs and see if there is. Alternatively, just run at nearby track and pace with random joggers. Can easily find a runner to pace with that is running at your pace. And you can also choose to stop whenever unlike running club since running club will just go all the way and don't stop.

He is national athlete for a reason, his debut HM time in his first year of NS was sub 1:30, high 1:2x if I am not wrong.

Yeah, it's not as good for turning/stability. But is still a carbon plate shoe. Better energy return and alter footstrike pattern to mid-foot/fore-foot.

Just keep running and get better at it. Most of my runs are actually at zone 3 and my legs feel alright, so it might be subjective for different ppl. I can maintain 140-150 HR and still be able to talk during the run.

I thought this is afternoon run? The timing seems alright for me.

Sundown different case since it's at night. But pretty sure even for their 10k run can wing it, finish in <1 hr, then quickly get on the train.
Actually I also wear carbon for my intervals but using qiaodan pb 3 haha. My other runs I also prefer to use trainers 😀

running lab got the trade in used shoes promotion till 30 Apr 24. can get $50 trade in voucher.
I don't know if they have changed the t&c, but base on past event, the voucher can only be used on shoes that are msrp. Not applicable on those discounted shoes.

Ya ya. I see wrongly, don't know why I see it as 4:30 am.
Anyway can join as Skechers membership and wait for them to sent discounts code, for $25. Maybe like that I will join since can take public transport.
I signed up for the pre-membership thing. Might just go for it even if there's no discount since it's only $5 difference.

Seems like a good timing for the run. And I don't mind paying for any race above 10k.

Don't really like to wear carbon because I like to do trail running. Poor stability in trails and there's a high chance the pebbles can scrap the surface of the carbon shoes, which undermines its effectiveness in intervals/races.

That's why rather rely on trainers for most of my runs.

Can try joining this running club: https://www.runningdept.com/what-pace-should-i-do-my-long-runs-at/

Go all the way up to 7.49/km

Interesting rule of thumb from this article: Long runs at 40-60s/km SLOWER than their target marathon pace.

I agree with this after observing strava data of different runners.

Oh I hate trails. Ran once in mac Ritchie. Was enough for me to never do trail lol

Any recommendations of running socks . I have wide feet and thick sock is definitely out.

Currently wearing swiftwick zero . I like it as it is thin but now this socks are getting more expensive. Like 3 for $50++.

Don't mind as long is less than $15 a pair.

I have been using Aonijie socks for more than 5 years. Currently favorite models are the E4825 and E4802. Also have the E4801, but it's low cut, which I don't really like. Durablility is fantastic and comfortable. I am still using the E4801 from 5 years ago and haven't pichar. During Taobao sales can get for rmb 97 for 3 pairs.
