Is ok. Just buy whatever u can afford.
Last time i also buy xiaomi less than $30 -40 type. It spoilt very easily and I guess it really don't suit for sport and active use.

Currently my jabra elite 7 pro do the job well. Can tahan my sweating ear and rain.

my training calender changed after i took away my mid point check in June for 10k @ 5mins/km pace in preparation for a sub 2 stanchart HM. i guess it was a bad idea to put a check 6 months away from my target race. my body is not able to cope with the training load.
Sub 2 half marathon no need to run a 5min / km pace for 10k. U can take it easy till 5:25 - 5:35 min/ km pace and maintain all the way . Can Finished at under 1 hr 57 mins...

Can do time trial soon. MAke sure do it on measured course like stadium.
Don't really like doing TT, prefer to do longer threshold runs. Will be doing 6km threshold at the end of the month with ASICS club to see how I stand
Good job and nice VO2 too.
When I got the watch, was at 52. Took about a month of training to go from 52 > 53.

I went from getting lapped by the FFRC fast group to keeping up the pace with them on Thursday.

I used a Lenovo LP40 for 2+ years for less than $20. One side cracked late last year after dropping. The other side still working well.

Changed to a LP75 recently. More secured since it had a ear loop. But the ear loop seems to cause an irritation at the back of my ear. Had to monitor for a few more weeks.

I have little requirements for good audio effects since I can't tell the difference. What I need is it being resistant to moisture/sweat, can be used for more than 1+ year, and no intermittent "jumping" due to poor connection.

Over the last few years, tried a few and Lenovo seems to fit the above criteria for a cheap ear bud. It's often less than $20 so can afford to change a new one every 1-2 years. At least that's what I feel.

SCSM still more than 6 months away, alot of time to train, get that injury heal first. only easy run, even if it had to be slower than the recommended pace by TAO.
I remember I mentioned to you to set progressive goal, i,.e have a sub 55 min 10km as a goal first, preferable do it under 52:30 min. But sub 50mins is kinda aggressive. Anyway I know of two female runners who can't sub 50 for 10km, but can sub 1:55 for HM and sub 4 hr for FM

Been awhile since i came to this thread, cumulative 800km so far and on track to 3000km for this yr. Last year around this timing i only did like 150km of running. :o
I see some runners on Strava of your calibre are doing >4000km a year. It seems you haven't reach your full potential yet. Imagine you increase your base building to >3600km a year, you could be the next zero90 of EDMW runners. But take care of your injury, coz mileage increase from is sudden.

Haha thanks but its okay just be myself and keep doing what i do.

3000km is more realistic to me for now considering i'll have commitments for this yr and i'm just running on my own during own time, don't really join running clubs too.

It's possible that from now on you'd just wanna "play" with all similar foams, coz you like that feeling.

Yes but let me get seaon to this shoes first.

I think it should help me to run better.

Need to get my stamina up so I can flied on that race day :s12:

Hopefully nobody will be staring at me when I run outside :s13:

Nice mine fluctuates from sub 20 to 21 plus. Now currently 20:18.

I should keep dropping until 18+ 5km times since I used to hit low 19s with 35km weeks. I increased my mileage to 50+ km now so should get there soon.
Morning 13 km run at 4:30 pace except last km miscalculated. Started to feel my calf tense up again so decided to stop. Wanted to do 18 as tune up for the race in 2 weeks but still an ok run.

That's more than enough for untapered tempo runs.

Know of a 1.18 HM runner that run 12k tempo at 3.40/km yesterday. Followed by a 25k easy long run today.

You should run 18k but as an easy run with HM splits (to add in twists) or alternatively, continue running easy pace for 5k after the 13k tempo pace to make up 18km.

From how I see it, 8k is the minimal tempo distance for HM. 10k is optimal. 12k is overkill. Beyond that, will become more like time trial, exert too much.

I feel that i can run longer distances when i am on these softer shoes. I mean, my legs feel can tahan longer.

But now is moot point, i just use cycling to fufill endurance portion. (not that i do FMs or HMs)
Up to low 20hrs a week. Mentally + physically + thermally (cooling) much better

No way can i tahan that with long runs / LSD over here in SG

The weather here is

If can dropped by 10 degrees, I am very sure you can see more runners outside

Yes gonna start tapering also to ease my calf before the race. Not expecting pb as it all depends on my calf. All the best to hit your peak 5km fitness
