Thks bro for your confirmation.
I saw youtube , those take part in 21 km , run walk and still can run and then walk n then run..
I thought once you walk, the momentum gone..

That's why can participated in the HM.

If run, cannot then jog, cannot then walk :s13:

I think if your walk can maintained at 5.5km per hour, should have np in completing the half marathon within 4 hours.

It's a matter of endurance.

Another way to jog as usual but with a shorter stride as you normally jog🤔

I find that by doing so it helped to reduce your heart rate and can maintain the pace for longer periods of time.

Yeah that helps a lot, usually for recovery runs, I lower my avg. stride length to 1.05-1.15m.

Do you all experience hip fragile after running ?

Is it the more you run, the more you won't feel it since you're already season liao ?

Never had any hip issue since day 1 of running. Maybe the pro (trainer and doc) here can advise.

😱

Mine was 0.8m only :s13:
probably due to flexibility, I am same height as sph (174cm).

I do striding at the end of easy runs once a week, just to fully extend my strides. 60-70m mini sprint fully extended (2.36m). It helps to widen the stride length.

Doing the flexibility stretches after running helps a lot.

I do lunges/bridges/leg raises once a week on my non-running day to prevent hip pains. Usually don't do so many (10-20), enough to benefit from it and not feel any ache when I run.

I see many Uk9 and UK12. Some UK10.5. West Coast Plaza branch, Don't know about the other outlets if they have the same promo. Got myself the UK10.5. Always had the Puma Deviate Nitro 2 and Velocity Nitro 2 on my list, but not urgent to buy, so can afford to wait out unti there such a promo under $80. Used Shopback for a further $2 discount.

I am 176 cm tall and my Garmin watch mentioned that taller people will have lower stride

My hip is not pain but tired

Hip pain, or tired, sound foreign to me, never had issue with them. But other legs injuries have a few.

DN2 good shoe. One of the easiest shoes to recommend to all kinds of runners, although the perspiration accumulated within the shoe is a huge issue for me.

YEs, I notice the upper thick and not as breathable as I would like. Will test out the shoes soon. Running around in the store seems alright, but need one > 15km to see if this going to be my LSD shoes. >15km will soak my other shoes under >90% humidity.
Anyone with a $79 to spare, this is one good buy.

@xllms How does the bmai shoe compare to pb3 in your opinion
the BMAI必迈 I have, 惊碳 Mix Plus is positioned as 全民碳板跑步鞋 (carbon plated running shoes for the masses), which is meant to be user-friendly, not for racers, targeting those without much training. In general, the propulsion from the carbon plated is relatively mild and a smooth role over without having a rocker at the forefoot. It is easy to run with, although I am not sure why my calf muscles felt strained during my first 2 runs on this pair of shoes. It should be used as a daily trainer.

In my opinion, the shoe in their lineup closer to pb3.0 should be the 惊碳fly (review below) which is more versatile than pb3.0 but could run/feel as fast as pb3.0
https://www.douyin.com/search/必迈惊碳fly对比飞影pb4.0?type=general

乔丹飞影pb3.0 is for those with running experience and training, or for competition (5/10/HM/FM). It is a fast and relatively stable running shoe, by making one run at faster pacing with relatively ease. Fore foot strikers or mid foot strikers will enjoy this pair very well. Rear foot strikers are ok as well but the strength of its midsole lies on the fore foot area. The foam reacts well below 6min pace, slower paces like 7-8 min pace will feel less shiok. Personally, it's a pair that makes me want to go fast, hence it is very suitable for racing. The midsole foam is also very nice to walk around with. Surprising the outsole rubber on the heel part is the most lasting amongst my running shoes (Adidas, Brooks, Puma, Qiaodan, Saucony, BMAI).
