I watched this review. Look like it's overall improved

Saw in the video that the tongue stick out too high. One of my peeve for shoes is it stick too much, can be irritating, as I will feel it while running. Think I will skip the 4 series and wait of PB5.

@sph777

Kofuzi went UK to run the London Marathon, hoping to PB. Was on track to hit 3 hr. But hit the wall around 25km.

HM split @ 1.29 (4.15/k)
25 - 30k split @ 4.48/k
30 - 35k split @ 5.42/k
35 - 40k split @ 6.17/k

After hit the wall, he just take it easy and chill with the crowd. Started walking around 35 - 40k split and found another runner struggling hard and gave him a pat on the back to encourage him. Nearing towards the end, can see that he is struggling a lot but still waving/clapping hands with the crowd. Ended the run with 3.23 hr.

He subed 3hr in the last year Tokyo marathon. What happen to him in London to hit the wall so early?

He seems to be breathless from 21km onwards. Tried to slow jog to build back the momentum but lost it. Kept dropping pace until he eventually started walking at 35km. During that time, he decided to stop going for times and just celebrate with the crowd to keep his mental going.

Interesting documentary now airing on ESPN or their streaming services. I have no access to either.

Just have to wait for a later episode for an answer. Coz this is within his performance judging from Tokyo marathon last year.

Out of curiosity, anyone using skechers for their runs? Would like to get more feedback from real users as I have just gotten a pair of walking shoes from skechers (Skechers Slip-ins: GR Swirl Tech Speed) really nice to walk around with. Probably will try GoRun Ride 11 if I ever find them when I go to HK as it is not available in China.
More of a durability issue. 300-400km pretty much can feel the cushioning gone liao. So the value ($/km) is very poor.

This year a bit slower than usual for the 18K run.

Last year the fastest men they took like around 1hr to finish, iirc 3.18 min/km pace for the fastest fella.

13.22km @ 7'12" av HR 148av 170max
keeping HR within 140 is so tough, let alone below 130.
I am also not sure if the HR reading on my coros is accurate as it differs quite significantly with apple, few instances, coros was in 150s while apple was in 130s
thinking if i should get the coros arm HR strap or another brand's HR reader

Guys,

Can advise.
Yesterday I did a 8km plus jog..
Normal old man pave.
Then evening time at home, I notice my 4 mth toe nail very discomfort when squeezed.
Why like that?
Nvr had that before .

Shoe too tight at toe-box? Or constant rubbing against the upper.

If wearing a new shoe, try shorter distance and see how it goes.

Personally using Polar H10. It's the gold standard for HR measurements for outdoor. Amazon SG can get cheaper than Coros and retail. But it's a chest strap, so it is not as comfortable as arm band one.
Arm band one, Polar's Verity Sense is also cheaper than Coros on Amazon SG.

Oic....thks bro..
Shorter distance no problem.
Even walking min 28km no issue.
Only jogging if more than 8km, toe like that.
Maybe need to wear thick sock?
