Wow this colour seems nice. Alas, my 1.0 is still pretty new, only washed once, i think less than 200km even since dont run much since late 2023 a . (my 2024 running mileage only 16xx km and that is mainly coz of my home-office-home zone 1 zone 2 commutes and home-lunches since everywhere too crowded in the city CBD  )

Runners advise please. When is good time to run this weekend. Can we assume will have 2-3 hours of “break” between rainfall

also please be careful of falling branches when running

Surge will last till Monday, the tail end of such surges are such that it would be drier at the end.
So Monday highest chance to have openings, followed by Sunday. (might even be just windy and cloudy, but no rainy or very slight "furry" type of misty rain"

I might schedule a hard run / test test run on Monday morning.

Yea, avoid road metal covers as well, other than falling branches (esp if it is windy).
Just run on asphalt like the usual PCN paths, no issue even when wet but starting to be dry type of surface even at 20kmh 3:00 pace.

Or even falling trees. One runner died because of a fallen tree in a woodlands.

Botanic gardens also got 1 dead and a few others injured, those big big tembusu tree iirc.

Rail corridor always got warning signs one. And once i did encounter a big fallen tree blocking the whole path, i had to carry my bike and tip toe over and go under some big branches.
Rode in the rain, RC also ponded.
After that deemed it too dangerous, never ride in the rain liao.

I just tested, i got 58 in one minute. Just gotta ensure the triceps are parallel to the ground (chest prob around 6 inches off the ground ok already), lock out at the top....that's what Guiness book of records require.

Main issue is the H+ ions accumulation. You gotta hoot it as it's a time trial.
For me is i am already beta alanine loaded, not sure if it helps but shd have a small effect.
Also at these rates i think a decent % depends on your fast twitch fibres that you currently have.

Will try to see if can break 60 - 65 range (give it some buffer) eventually, i think 60 is the max standard (25 max points) for age 24 and below for IPPT.
Dont look at age..., not WR just IPPT, it can be done unless if you are past 75 (where everything really starts to go downhill exponentially)
But it is for fun, for me is train with 2 resistance bands and decline on a 50cm height with in the 16 - 20 rep range.

Bonus

87 is insane
