Still raining on off with patches of moisture, seems like still have quite a fair bit of moisture around but compared to yest is much drier. Surges are like that.....from now on is very likely to be fast passing patches.Haha too late, i prefer running before 7am. But yea the rain has stopped for a while.
Haha ya continuously getting on/off the stool with one leg is damn good training.@sales69
Just finished washing my windows for CNY.
Wow, the pistol squat / normal squat (esp pistol squat) are very close functional replicas of me 1 hand holding onto my squegee and then getting up/down the stool, and also getting on/off the stool to scoop water from a basin of water on the floor. Sometimes can hold onto something for balance, sometimes nothing, for 1 full length window i am on the bed so the water basin and glass cleaners are on the floor and 1m away.
The balance and power needed.
Jump down from the stool also can, but need balance and feet and calves strength/stability to cushion the impact. And then the knee joint health as well.
Took me like 60 mins to finish everything.
I dont think normal folks even in their 60s are safe in doing this action, esp with wet floor surfaces and what nots. The strength and balance needed. Age 70s normal people without training i think is literally impossible unless holding onto something.
And then i also have the basin of water for washing the squeegee, carrying to and fro the toilet. Prob around 15kg. With squats / good mornings, good glute and lower back / spinae erectus etc strength, no issue no herniation. Best is still to perform safe form to lessen the torque on the discs but still, muscular strength plays a part.
Just thinking aloud.![]()
Just did 5km, nice and coolingStill raining on off with patches of moisture, seems like still have quite a fair bit of moisture around but compared to yest is much drier. Surges are like that.....from now on is very likely to be fast passing patches.
But tomorrow will be even drier, and driest on Monday.......relatively speaking, esp when it starts to weaken.
So Sun nite / mon morning best chance, can plan schedule with that esp if want to gun. So for you it might be Monday.
I just took AL for Monday.![]()
I am been on free mode for all these times. Wondering if those who subscribed, are the additional benefit worth it? For metrics, I rely on coros, elevated Strava and runalyze, and they gives me more than I can handle.Guys what do think of the strava subscription? Seems like there's 25% off for this year.
