Experts here, any recommendation for a sub $100 jogging shoes with good/thick cushioning?

as age catches on, knees start to feel painful while jogging, Currently on NB Arishi FreshFoam.

slow casual jogger here who runs about 7Km 2 times per week.

Today run 😱

I never tried running so long outside, nearly fainted if not taking for some toilet and water break. Weather is still okay but got a bit of sun 😅

My first 10K run outside from Bukit Batok to Orchard Tanglin Mall. Really taxing 🥲

1080 V13 is very good but it's out of your budget so maybe can take a look at it's brother, 880.

You can go to Queensway level 3, there's one warehouse always had sales offer and can asked for the staff recommendations.

If you have knee pain, you should read up on minimalist running. It was a popular fad about 10 years ago. ONe such book is 'Born to Run'. It's a sort of biography of the author's journey to discover barefoot running. Caveat is in the beginning, this running will put a big strain on your calves and Archille's tendon, so start with low mileages on stadium track.

I opposite form you. Those few times I ever ran on a treadmill, usually holiday at hotel gym, I find a 30 mins session on the treadmill is like forever, too long. While outside, can run LSD without concerning that it was too long. My guess is the lack of change in sceneries from the treadmill makes it like time spent was unbearable.

me now also jog 2.5k - agar 13-14 mins (yes very slow) then walk 1k (12 mins) lol
Can. Try increasing your speed gradually. When your body get stronger, surely have the urge to run some more.

I only ran actively after 30. Went from fail 2.4 to pass. Then improved to silver.

Then ran 5k in 25mins. Best was slightly under.

Been running ever since. Picked up injuries along the way. Slowed down. Still a lousy, inefficient runner but hey, most important is keep healthy and fit. :)

I'm no expert but from my experience high heel to toe drop shoes can cause problem to the knee if you wear for a prolong time. The Arishi Fresh Foam has a high 8mm heel to toe. Can look at those 4mm drop shoes with thick cushioning like the Endorphin Shift 2. Height is 38mm/34mm. It's very stable also. Already discontinued but still available on Amazon for $106 size 10 at this time. The Endorphin shift 3 is another option but is a little less stable in my opinion.
