swee...
running apparels wise... i like decathlon for their running tops and especially socks r900 series.
cheap and performant
running top I go for more affordable brands, eg. Krane. I buy cheapo <RMB10/pair socks with the word "Rapha" on it. Not sure real or fake, but good enough for me and many colors to choose from.

i tried before but their singlet is quite hot and stuffy, especially i am bui bui and sweat alot
i am normal size i guess.. 65kg 165.. but also sweat a ton. average one hour run i will lose about 2-2.5kg depending on temp.
so my perpetual issue with running shoe is the padding.. too much padding like sweat sponge.. shoes takes days to dry.. too little padding.. shoe feel rough... first world problems i guess

Same issue, heavy sweater. My shoes has to be good drainage, else there will be ponding inside. Even if easy days of more than 1 hours I might get squeaky shoes.

any run over 70mins for me the shoe will start to pond.. only diff is minor or major. the solution that works for me is the proper socks. as long as socks remain tight and elastic when wet.. no issues for me. but the sound of the shoe strike gets irritating :ROFLMAO:

and that was the reason for looking at bmai jingtan 3/3t. Cos technically it has no in-soles and the upper is paper thin with bare minimum padding. so it should be more "sweat resistant"!
still got to find time to go pangu to try for size.

Same issue as me. Which is one reason why i don't run more than 2 hours during summer. In my case, whatever shoes also have little help, cos even when socks absorb perspiration, when you run, it will turn soggy, become uncomfortable and feet will slide.

You different. Big size but run fast and hard. Need recoup energy. :s13:

But should be fine as long don't over indulge in fatty and sweet stuffs.

Last time I will watch body fat %. Now don't care. Run to eat!

weight wise.. you happy can liao... as long as healthy + regular exercise
i swing from 80+ to 50+ years ago... hit my lowest around 56+ when weekly run volume was around 100k. Covid period, nothing to do so just run. :D
with life returning to normal.. running volume became more sane.. so now stabilized around 65kg. and i actually like my current "chubbier" version

but we no choice in SG... every run is in deep summer territory
personally i feel the challenge is humidity more than temp
