Caught the Dell Inspiron 24 7000 in real life at Best Denki.

Size of it to the wireless keyboard. Salesman were taking a break from set up, i cannot power it on sad to say. No Realsense action yet.

Side profile, the power cable into the base and it is the only cable you need!

Just get to know we can get an Intel RealSense developer camera aka F200, F200 is not a consumer-grade device and mainly for software development, so may experience some compatibility issues. At lease next time I can get this to try Windows Hello features.

Yes, HWZ can do a review on the differences and benchmark performances of between 4K UHD Touchscreen and FHD of Dell Inspiron 15 7000 side by side~

like this can better inform consumer which type of screen to buy even for other Dell Inspiron laptops~

Yup, agreed with mosmos, hopefully HWZ can do a review on this.

This more or less will provide some sort of understanding or info in advance for the consumers like us before decide which model to go for.

why get the developer camera instead of Intel RealSense 3D camera? confirm the developer camera can work with Windows 10 Hello?

It is due to current Dell Inspiron 15 7000 did not come with Intel Realsense. so if wanna try Windows 10 Hello, the only way is toget a F200 to try with..

In my quest to win XPS15 voucher i go across Singapore to search and found in Best Denki J8 is this newly unpacked Inspiron 24 7000. I think tomorrow the AIO will be set up and ready to try the Realsense camera and apps.

I also saw the new Alienware 15 with Skylake cpu unpacked. It has a very solid and compact casing that feels worth the asking price.

imo Inspiron 24 7000 for you to use at home big big screen for u to watch movie/drama while Inspiron 15 7000 use if u need to use computer on the go ofcause you can even choose Dell XPS series laptop for ultrabook version

Dell XPS 13 or 15 series is way to expensive for me..

For student, no need so high end one.

I am curious to see how Realsense performed on a much more powerful platform in i7 6700HQ, 16GB of ram, dedicated GPU and Windows 10. What kind of new idea apps will be available on the AIO?

Dell Venue 8 is an Android tablet that is under-powered and under-developed to pass off as a fulfilling experience. It was more of an experiment by Dell and Intel.

such a pity that Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touch screen does not have Intel Realsense camera, such high specs laptop should have everything~

there are other brands that have built-in Intel Realsense camera without having sacrifice aesthetics ~

It is call speed shift and it gives a more responsive performance in daily tasks such as internet browsing or viewing photos!

sadly that pricing is not competitive at all.. no one with a sane mind will pay $2k for those specs, even if it comes with intel realsense

May be Dell will include this when they launch new Inspiron 15 7000 series with GTX 970M/980M GPU..

It would better if the Dell Inspirion 15 7000 series came with Nvidia GTX 970/980 GPU instead of the mobile version of the GPUs.
