unless can really see a big difference for 4k and hd

dell brand not bad, excellent after sales service support ---- that's their real strong selling proposition imo

Dell dont sell external dvd writer but for those feel the need to use optical drive for their Inspiron 17 7000 series 4K screen laptop~ you can easily purchase one external optical driver under 40bucks it is so much cheaper now few yrs back still need omost 100bucks. I got mine external dvd writer from qoo10 using their discount coupon during promo even cheaper

Caught the Dell Inspiron 24 7000 in real life at Best Denki.

Size of it to the wireless keyboard. Salesman were taking a break from set up, i cannot power it on sad to say. No Realsense action yet.

Side profile, the power cable into the base and it is the only cable you need!

Realsense 3D camera! Notice the big sensor which i think is the normal camera, the middle gear is the infrared projector and left is the infrared sensor

Standard pricing from Best. Dell also has another non-Realsense Inspiron AIO with quad core i5.

Hannor Dell should consider providing more variety choices for Inspiron series and optional choices like with Realsense Camera or not. Consumers love to be pampered here

I rmb last time Dell is highly customizable, can add this and that huan

profit margin getting lesser for laptop that why they no longer so customizable unlike in the past and customers not willing to wait for their laptop to be ready they prefer instant stock. Last time at pc show dell booth dont have ready stock all must place order than they prepare to ship to you from Dell Malaysia Penang factory

It will work with Windows 10 and Skylake Intel 6th gen Core cpu only. It is a hardware feature of Skylake

In theory it should work well for laptop in giving the best performance in daily uses while conservative on the battery. Imagine before Skylake, you need 5 steps running before you can fly and 10 steps braking before you come to a halt.

With Dell latest products on Skylake, you can vertical take off and landing. You can reach your destination faster and save fuel on the extra 15 steps

Sounds to me like a conspiracy between Intel and Microsoft to boost their Skylake and Windows 10 adoption rate....

Thats actually quite long battery life by my standards. i7 more powerful performance but also suck more battery juice. But thats on paper for the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 right?

Must do test with gaming and watching media to see real world numbers.

The Core i7 processor is a native quad core with HT while Core i5 is simply a dual core with HT hence the battery endurance advantage on the latter. The one with Core i5 got touchscreen or just normal non touch?

for dell point of view~ amid of competition among different brand they will want their products to cost down as much as possible to earn more money~ removable battery vs built in battery perhaps can cost down few dollar usd or even more and earn extra money from those not so techie users who had to return back to dell for replacement of battery.

same like smartphones now phones getting more & more built in battery and no longer have microsd slot~ less parts to cover for wty too

for those more techie ppl one good thing about Dell Inspiron series laptop if your warranty over but like some hardware spoilt(non generic ones like display panel,webcam,keyboard,fan) you wanna replace it is not hard to find those spare parts in the market and diy replacement using their laptop service guide but motherboard usually not worth to replace as usually it will be more better just to get a new laptop

I think Microsoft can back port to Windows 8.1 but Windows 10 is the one going forward so they want save the time on this job.

This Speed Shift will need the inbuilt logic only on Skylake, that is one thing certain, so even if Microsoft open it up to Windows 8.1, you need the laptops to come with Skylake processors

Dell warranty and support makes me want to continue buy them.

good thing abt the warranty is they come over to fix it. can buy Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense 3D camera with Windows 10 Hello. New technology and fun to play with.

For battery think need check with their CSO before purchase previously those Dell Inspiron laptop with removable battery even though you extend your warranty the battery still cover for 1st yr only

For Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series 4K screen laptop think the pro & cons as per below

Pro:
spec high enough to play game released in 2015 without any problem
stylish design for the laptop
audio good enough

Cons:
No Optical Drive
more bulky compare to 14inch laptop?
battery life?

other cons are there is no Intel RealSense 3D camera and you can't use Windows 10 Hello. probably Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with an upgraded graphics card would make a better computer system.
