Hi looking to get a G6 from street shop (Mobyshop etc).

Is the 2 year warranty still valid or claimable now if I get from a street shop? Thanks!

Why get from shops? Just go carousell and buy direct from the owners.

If you die die getting from shops, market rate is about 650 to 670 for brand new sets.

Carousell is about 600 or so for a 1-2 month used set on average. Prefer to just pay another 50$ and have a peace of mind for a brand new set. Any idea which street shop has best price and is reliable?

Hi I'm planning to get a G6, but the only thing that bothers me is the screen ratio,can YouTube videos be played in FullScreen mode? And is Snapchat fully compatible with the g6, how are the pictures quality? Thanks

As long as YouTube video playback are 18:9, it'll be full screen else they will be some black borders.

Can share where to get that price of $650 to $670 for new set? Lowest I've seen around is $680.

any big issue for the G6 so far? like bootloop and such, planning to recontract my plan for this phone soon

G6 also has an app scaling option. You should try to use that. However, it's the same issue. There is always a caveat, since it may not work all the time depending on the app.

Has anyone tried charging the G6 with other mobile type C charger? I tried charging with Huawei type C charger and cable but it doesn't charge at all after 30 min despite showing the charging icon on the battery. It does ok with the original cable but thought of bringing just one set of charger overseas...

Works fine for me. Using samsung fast charger with Samsung micro usb cable + Huawei usb c adapter.
