6690 is a limited edition I think (white color is it?)

yeah, 6690 is comes with white remote & white magic motion. TV has a white back also.

Ya, technical spec is the same except design. However not sure if white is a longlasting color. Otherwise is quite nice.

On the harveynorman website they have the 47LS5700 for 1299. Is this a good deal? I don't really need a 3d tv.

See my earlier post, got it @$980 at harvey norman. Now @1295 with blu ray player 3D I think. Maybe price decreasing further.

Anyone bought 42lm5800?
Saw it at Gain City MS selling at $899.

Don't need smart tv & wifi cos I hook it up to my PC via HDMI.
Seach the forum but don't see much reviews here, even google, so am slightly apprehensive.

Anyone with similar specs & price for other brands?
