This is to be expected from these "no accountability" guys mah
Too complacent and thought it was an easy case
Still remember the LML and maid case? Never see how sloppy they were with the collection of "evidence" to the presentation of faulty equipment in court![]()
You are absolutely right.
In the Parti Liyani appellate court case, PAP Ministar Shanmugam was forced to come clean on the police lapses in Parliament.
In this Pritam Singh trial, the public only came to know that all 3 of the AGC prosecution witnesses admited to lying during cross examination by the defense lawyer.
PAP Ministar Shanmugam should be grilled in Parliament to give an explanation why the AGC prosecution witness were allowed to redact material evidence?
And did the SPF check that the witness statements given to COP Committee corroborate with their unredacted messages?

On Monday, Mr Shanmugam told the House both the investigation officer (IO) and his supervisor had neglected their duties, resulting in lapses.
He listed three lapses that were found.
The first was that the IO did not visit the scene of crime to promptly carry out investigations and gather evidence, contributing to a break in the chain of custody for some exhibits.
The second was that the IO did not properly verify some of the claims made by parties during the investigation.
The third lapse was the supervisor not providing sufficient guidance.
