I tried using that but it prompted me that Toast can't due to CSS encrypted under "Disc copy".

That is reason by I'm looking for other alternatives, anyway I'm just asking whether handbrake can do the job less ripping it to mp4. I'm lazy to install new software to do the job unless there is a need to.

Er... you gotta select the Data tab and pick the ISO 9660 instead. Then select your ripped files & folders from your Mac into it.

CSS encrypted... the dvd is copyright protected so.... you gotta go figure out how to yourself leow.

may i know is there a way to fully disable safari's url auto-complete feature? try typing http://home/ on the address bar, it will automatic change to www.home.com.. which i find it very irritating..

i try to clear cache, history and uncheck everything in autofill under perference.. but the so call "smart" browser keep give me the .com thing which i don't want..

Granted I use firefox mainly but I've tried going to www.home.com, and then restarting safari to try http://home/ again and it still doesn't autocomplete for me.

Still, I did read a few boards that gripe about the very same thing and they say the only workaround is to send an email to Apple to tell them their new autocomplete feature is not too cool.

Here's something you can try which I picked up from macrumors forum:

Okay you can disable the History from Autocompleting, but I don't know of any way to prevent it from automcompleting from your booksmarks.

Here's how
(1) In Safari go to History>Clear History
(2) Close Safari
(3) Go to Home>Library>Safari
(4) Get Info on the File History.plist
a) Change Ownerships & Permissions to Read Only
b) Check the locked tab on top
c) Click on the little lock icon on the bottom

Safari stills remembers the history until you close Safari

I wish I knew of a way to stop autocompleting from bookmarks

Safari's autocompletion is its worst feature

hey guys, I have a question. Why issit that after I installed windows on my mac, the time and date on my mac goes crazy? Meaning, the time and date is not accurate and needs me to set it back everytime. Any person can enlighten me? The time on my windows has no problem at all. Help!

it's a known issue with Boot Camp which will probably not have a fix (*IIRC* it is because of the different way windows and mac determines time based on the hardware clock)

There are some fixes out there which uses scripting to autosync the time again whenever booting back into Mac OS X. It's a hassle sometimes but for the moment I just live with having to manually update the time again whenever I use Boot Camp.

My Macbook's battery is showing "X" sign!

Hi guys, I need help on my macbook's battery.. have been searching around the forum for an answer but there isn't any.

There's problem with the battery.. there is a "X" sign on the battery icon, and the magsafe adaptor will flickle between red and green. When the battery icon shows the % of the battery and I remove the adaptor, my mac jus went blank and goes to sleep mode!

I only bought my macbook around April/May this year.. how come so fast the battery having problems already??

I got it from EpiCenter, do you think I can ask to exchange for a new battery??

Appreciate everyone's advice.. TIA!

Send it in for servicing. Likely a battery issue.

isync HELP!!!

Heyyy guyss..

I have a question regarding the new Nokia phone 6600 slide and isync.

Need to know if anyone of you know where can I download the plugin for this phone so that I can "isync" it to my macbook.

Tried searching on apple.com but it is not listed as a compatible phone. Not too sure if its because the phone is recent and new so perhaps the list is not updated?

But whatever the case, just wanna make sure that I can sync is to my macbook.

If anyone of you has the plugin or know where I can download it (for free), please let me know!!! Appreciate the help!!!

Looks like a font issue. Did you corrupt some fonts or replace some by accident?

Guys, Just wonder if any of you are using the USB stick to get online with StarHub boardband? Does it get very hot after awhile? I wonder just what happen with it when I plug into my MacBook and its get heated up very fast. I guess time to get APP for my MacBook. Any solution for this? Does SMCFanControl help?
