what do you mean? u want to restore the hdd that you have taken out to the newly installed hard disk?

not sure but this helps, as i interpreted it as you want info from the former hdd that has been taken out? i have similar question... was thinking of using the hard drive dock to dock the old drive to retrieve what i need.

Not much of a big difference unless you are virtualizing.

You need a platform for you to copy the exact image of your old hdd to the new hdd.

You can approach any computer shop for details, i doubt you have the means to do it own your own, unless you have a large CPU with multiple HDD slots which can read your old HDD as slave 1 and new HDD as slave 2 and software to do the transfer.

all macbook power adaptor are 100v- 240v.. you may have to get a convertor to US 2 pin to SG 3 pin head

the magsafe chargers work on all voltages. As long as the plug fits the socket...it will work. you will need a universal adapter and thats pretty much it

Well, you don't have to buy it now. You can buy Applecare any time within the first year of your purchase. So just sit on it, think about whether you want the extra two years of security. It is very conflicting for me personally because when my iMac went bust after two years, I regretted not buying Applecare in the first place because that would have covered the repairs. However, my Macbook from 2007 is still going strong after more than three years of owning it without any major issues. So, you know, it all depends. It could be a lifesaver or a complete waste of money. The point is, we never really know.

thats true...i guess for electronic products its all about luck. even if you take gd care of it, it might go hay-wired for no rhyme or reason.

Hi,
anyone here using your iMacs as a TV?
Was thinking of getting a 27" one as well as a tv-tuner.
Say I have a tv socket, will the pics be clear?
I also heard with the tv-tuner, I will be able to watch shows output from starhub box. Intend to just get the iMac and save on getting a tv for my bedroom...
