Hey guys, I got a 2010 MBP that refuses to boot . Meaning when I press power button, the white light is there but it just doesn't show the boot screen. Then it will have some hardware noise and start to boot but keep fail cycle repeat.. it's not the power problem..charger/battery it still doesn't work. Anyone can help?

did you just change ram?

boot into AHT and check what seems to be the issue?

Spotlight > Search for 'Image Capture' for manual imports of your photos/videos.

videos on your iPhone are imported and managed using iPhoto. from there you can export to iMovie.

chehjin, thanks for the help on the queries about restoring my MBA. No chance on doing a full factory restore on it, have to time machine restore it and manually delete my files, apple id, deauthorise machine, etc as i selling the mba away.

Just got a shock when my new rmbp cannot wake up just now. Was working on it in office, went out for smoke and come back. Press any button including power button but the rmbp does not wake up for like 2 mins. After 2 mins it wakes up:eek:

Anybody have this problem before?

I do get this once in a while but very rarely. It's not that big an issue if it doesn't occur frequently.

ah...why so troublesome? just setup a new user then delete the old user, everything gone. haha..

anyway, like iCubes, i get this sometimes too. and if i'm not wrong, it usually happens if I shut the lid in the midst of flash video playing or similar.

Another problem is when back page in safari, sometimes page will load with blank screen. Common? =:p

Not sure what happen and have been using this Apple id for many years and making many purchases on it. sigh....:(:(

help.
my iPad is like USA + SG acc + friend's appleID acc to help install 1-3apps. Most important is notability. Start to feel v good after i use it for days.

Now I might need to get a replacement and problem is i cannot backup directly with my iTunes. Its the same old thing like if I authorise, the apps thats not in the apple ID used = removed. I cannot even backup choosing the "backup w/o apps" too....
any ways to backup my apps + iPad?

Thanks.

Just go to the respective user ID store in iTunes and download again. They won't charge you for it as long the ID is used to purchase the app before.

Can I buy eBooks through iTunes if my account is a Singapore account? If not, what other apps can I use, if I want to read eBooks off my iPad?
