Why make life difficult for the call centre staff when they are not the one taking your comms or having 3-6months bonus. Go grill your agent or send formal email to their senior management or write to straits times forum la.

I'm drilling one of the directors....
Cannot give me any reasons for the reduction only keep, saying economy bad.
Avoid this Manulife at all cost!

Economy bad is a lousy excuse.
In fact, this is the worst explanation to use.
It just looks bad on them. Arent u guys the financial experts?
Im averaging 4 to 5 % yield on my diy investments for the past 4 years.
Why should i need you if i can do a better job?

Yes,lousy excuse if other insurers aren't cutting their bonuses.

However, regarding your second point of diy returns...some of us may prefer having just 2%-3% returns without the need/stress to monitor?

I hope MAS would revamp the insurance industry BI format. They should disallow the use of non guaranteed column, especially for endowment policy!

There is no point to complain. They have those small wording to protect themselves which we hardly read. Also lots of time is words against words at the time of signing

Remember this simple rule. When it is sunny days. These fanacial institution gives you a umbrella. They took it away when it is a rainy day when you need them most.
