can't really rely on bukit batok being the next hub.. haven't heard on such plans so far. at least, not for the near (5-10yr) future. comparing the 2, i would say clementi is a better bet. instant "earn" once you get the flat

yeah, clementi one will have the highest resale value by far of the lot.
furthermore always got rental potential due to NUS/poly/industrial park being nearby. Will never have a shortage of tenants (I'm from NUS last time)

but for bukit batok gotta see the design and layout first, if it's like pinnacle or similar, maybe worth it. coz that area not many EC's/condo's but a lot of old folks, so high demand will be there from locals who want to stay near parents... hope they have nice balcony layout

Do not forgot there are foreigners became citizen fight the flat too...

I feel non mature estate is good also...peaceful,cheaper,better and faster nt much crowded...can go reservoir to see pple car racing...cycling...water mean fengshui

If you 're saying mature estate,all HDB built very close to each other..but not non-mature estate...

For my case is different, the BTO I am apply opposite to orchid country club so there is need some green scenery and peaceful...you need to see where the orchid country club locate

Most of the areas are terrace house, condo so there is a need for some green scenery...I am thinking go to condo to use their free swimming pool

question. if i selected my flat for a BTO liao, paid option fee, but havent gone for 2nd appt. am I still eligible to apply in upcoming BTOs, assuming I am willing to forfeit the option fee?

advise you to seriously not do that, not only will you forfeit the option fee plus other fees(because you have to give up your flat first before being able to apply), there is no guarantee you will get a queue/flat, all your chances will be reset to the base (2 for first timer), regardless of how many bto you applied and missed out on. you will be like a person applying for bto for the first time from then onwards. And there is no way you will know how many times you need to ballot again to get a flat (typically each bto exercises pushes back the completion date around 3 month at most)

Infact when you travel to Avenue 11 to lower seletar reservoir, the areas still very big field as pple complaint that this is private land most built condo there...they are use some land to built BTO...Kampong still have can go reservoir fishing...the yishun pond is near to yishun central not at lower seletar reservoir...good fengshui still have...hahaha..

Your point not so correct...assume if they have paid for option
fee....they still can apply other BTO...if the BTO they have gd number so most likely they will get the flat..you just need select which BTO they want...if you sign agreement of lease then no choice .....hahaha..

Not only mature estate hdb built close.my frd stay in punggol and sengkang say flat is close to each other.so are these place mature estate.

I had talk to the fengshui master before.the person told me must see the water flow direction.if the water flow away from ur house.that mean u lost more $.

Not all fengshui are right, water flow direction is base on wind direction..the wind flow can flow away or toward to you..
If water flow toward you , the house can say flooded..

You must see the location...sengkang mostly built HDB..
The location I'm apply mostly are private house as cannot too close if not owner make noise...you got see the different...hahaha..
