Hello all, my spouse n i had just selected our 4 room flat in tamp ytd. However, the hdb officer told us they are only 'provisionally accepted' our selection at the moment, subject to their mgmt's approval on our appeal. Reason for our appeal is bcuz our combined income had already exceeded the ceiling.
Any1 encountered such situations before? Will hdb really reject our case even after we have selected our choice unit?? Hope to seek some advise here. TIA.

I got the level 4, cause its nearer to MRT and white sands. Need to wait about 3-5 mths before they can pass the keys. They need to process the loan etc.

Hi, do the 3 - 5 months apply for all ready units?

ya already exceeded ceiling. Wrote in to HDB in May'15 and they say they will allow us to apply provided our income doesn't increase anymore. the thing is last month both of us got an increment again.
We managed to choose our unit and paid the options fees yesterday. However HDB claimed that they will still need to put up for their mgmt approval and if their mgmt reject our appeal, the option fees will be refunded. Our concerns now is to know if it is common for hdb to reject our application even after paying option fees?

Since they already communicate with you on this and going to refund if they reject ur appeal then they have already done their part..

And somemore they bend their rules by allowing you to apply with income exceeding ceiling, have also mention their condition for allowing so..

Also the exception was made provided there is no further increase in combine income however both of you got increment again. I wont be surprised if HDB offer you a refund.

What they say is final..Meaning if they doing a backdate then would have been done, since they say it's for Nov launch onwards. That's that..

Sunday would be full day selection. Accessible only for ppl with appt on that day..
