Can I ask if I only want HDB to do living room flooring only, is that possible? Cause I prefer my room flooring to be those wooden type.

Just for the record:
As of today 4 room.
Total unit :888
Unit still available : 752
Selection Q number : 185
total number of selected unit 888 -752 = 136
total number of drop out 185 - 136 = 49
% drop out is 49/185 x100% = 26.5 %

And base on the Ethnic Quota
Chinese : 625
Malay :192
Others : 98

If all remaining unit from tomorrow is selected by chinese the last q number before the ethnic Quota for chinese is reach would be 185 + 625 = 810.

And should there be no more drop out the q number will end @ 888+ 49 = 937

AHG is only given if your combine income is low enough to get it. Different income levels will get different grants. One party is also required to be working for the last 12 months.

This is applied during flat selection when you pay the $2,000. The AHG outcome is only known before the second appointment when the 5%/10% deposit is paid.

ok, my selection date is in september and my wife only start working part time just last week only, so her income will not be taken into consideration for the AHG right? Cos if her income is being considered then my AHG will be lesser by 5K liao... :(

Wonder why some choose MT #270 as anyone standing at #272 walkway can look into the living room if they stretch their neck out. With full windows in living is slightly unfortunate thatl view is partially block by #272. Which means we can only have a better view in the bedrooms. Maybe they go for the wind ba.

precisely why i and huisann and others who have their Q number near the end are worried of the racial quotas and because of one racist people, we have to stop the important race update.

With the current drop out rate of 1:4.
huisann should be safe, the only problem is to get the unit they wanted. Just like me

my guess is the parent child scheme. maybe the parents prefer to stay near the mrt or bustop. or the owner wanna stay near the carpark.

270 is one of the rare 4 rooms unit that has got the other layout, which is you enter from the living room instead of the kitchen immediately. i would have preferred this layout too but due to other factors, decided not to. but the layout could have contributed to its popularity!

I am also looking at 270, one reason is the view for the north from the bedrooms, another reason is it's layout with a spread out corridor from the main door, cos the other main door corridors are quite "tight"... the shelter is also next to the kitchen, which is good as a kitchen pantry (ideal as backup for food if we EVER need the shelter)
