Underneath the router will have a sticker indicating the serial number, there you can find the firmware I think.. not sure if my memory has failed.

Have u done a reset after upgrading to latest firmware?

Also don't forget to reboot your ONT. I had this problem before and scratching head for a few days then just decide to reboot the ONT and that fixed it.

The WAN IP is a private IP address? If this the case, the only solution is to pay for a public/ static IP

DDNS will resolve to the private IP and u will not be able to access it when u r not connected to ur local lan

I'm puzzled. Meaning to say those with DDNS on this router are all on static IP? I thought when the router says a private IP it refers to that 192.168.x.x

I'm thinking the issue could be due to the way I connect my router. My current setup: ONT -> Switch -> Router.

I thot u say ur wan is a private IP? What subnet is ur wan ip?

The way u connect is wrong also

I updated to 3.0.0.4.380_3459.

Now when i try connect repeater devices ie AC56U or Dir868L to the AC87U's 5ghz band, it is either upload speed slow or no access to internet.

I have set the AC87U5 Ghz to a 2 digit channel number at 40Mhz. Still the same
