That's the reason why i terminated my M1 broadband after 1 mth of usage.

Images (and occasionally pages with erorr 404) don't load properly.

Cannot sustain large downloads. e.g Download of files will typically get cancelled for no reason when i download 200mb files from Rapidshare or other file-hosting websites, even though the Internet connection is ok.

M1 does not have a proxy server. Starhub and Singtel do.

I have tested the above problems at home, in my workplace and town and they still persist.

Their Mifi device is problematic.

Went back to Starhub. No regrets and i've been downloading gigabytes of files without any disconnections.

in contrast to you, i'm d/ling gbs of files using m1 and it's from rapidshare. Stinktel can do the same but it's SLOOW with 2 O's.

I think star hub might be the same as m1 i'm not really sure. I tried RS d/l with starhub but my account shut off cos too many ips detected, cos i used m1, starhub and stinktel on it.

Anyway try d/ling those driver files from nvidia or ati cos they have very fast servers. I could reach 800kbps with m1 but only for a few secs then it was mostly around 500. Star hub did not go that high but maintained the speed around the same as m1. Stinktel was the worst at i think around 200 or less.

Try d/ling the drivers from this site to test your speed since their servers are extremely fast.

speedtest did not run that well for starhub or m1. The ping was much lower than sinktel but moved slowly too.

My latest result with m1 looks pretty good
:D

Wow that's the highest I've seen so far for mobile broadband! Anyway, I've not been experiencing image issue for past few weeks as M1 seems to have ironed it out le. No more "please wait for 2 seconds" kinda msg...

I actually got 6.18 for a later test but i didn't copy that one.

Been getting around 500-600 avg for RS once it reached 800 over but for a short while.

I'm on SingNet 2 Mbps plan, i wouldn't say that speed is superb due to the fact that its only 2 Mbps but its stable, as in having no disconnections from West to East and vice versa.

Tried a few times and got rock solid connection, slow at a few times, but I'm more concerned of stability over speed.

Here's something different for a change.

The above shows the reliability and consistency of my Starhub 2mbps plan in downloading files. 2mbps download fully utilised.

The modem was able to connect to a 3.8G base does not mean anything mah.
Your 2mbps plan connected to 7.2M base why don't say "don't bluff" to yourself that you shld get 7.2? :s22:
BTW, the chart says kbps

the speed ish 2.5Mbps = 25Mbps plan le.........how can it be 2Mbps plan which have more than 10x of speed...........:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Perhaps you might want to take a moment to analyze the graph which i posted earlier.

The download is more or less capped at 2000kbps, which is my 2mbps plan:eek::eek:

The 2.50Mbps which you see below is one of the occasional short bursts of speed.
