d/ling from RS isn't too bad with m1 for me. Just saying again.



My starhub express is slow tonight so i'm using this now. :D


I'm actually a bit hooked to all this bbom stuff. :s22:

liangtam, cause I needed that ISO from IBM mah... and the modem is used on a Linux commandline only machine, so use wget lor. Heh.

2.5Mbps != 2.5MB/sec.
And 2.5MB/sec != 25Mbps. It's 20Mbps, or at most 21Mbps if you want to talk about overheads and what not.

whaleshark87, you can say that again. Many many times.

Here's my d/l from megaupload using my bbom.

It's as good or even better sometimes than my home connection :s12:

I saw it reach 1.4mbps d/l speed which is like probably the max speed of 7.2 for this connection

The speed was also pretty much maintained at around 800+ kbps sometimes going higher and sometimes going lower

I actually used my BBOM and home connection to d/l large files.


One pc uses the bbom network to d/l 1 half and the other half handled by home connection.


Really saves time.
