6. SpeedTest link : download 0.53 Mbs, upload 0.26 Mbs, ping 233ms, current results
7. Others : time 11.35pm

wizardoz, this phenomenon seems to be standard across all mobile broadband providers at the moment... it always becomes horribly slow in the evenings from 5-7pm onwards until 12-2am... so it'll probably be the same whichever provider you do switch to. For now at least.

Don't blame anybody if you rush to sign up and then realise the 100% speed boost no longer there because they had someone reading the forums. ;p

It's proved, from 7p.m - 1p.m it will slow down,been with them for 3 yrs already

Yeah, I was trying to find out if it's more of a policy/system rules thing, or it's really due to load. Not able to conclude, but it could really be due to load, as during the weekends, the performance is really a bit more erratic.

Think should be due to load... Cuz most of the time I still can get very gd speeds hovering between 0.7 - 0.9Mbps for my 1Mbps M1 mobile BB on weekday nights..

Anyway, that's a good speed. Gives me the confidence to consider going for an upgrade to 2Mbps.

M1 having 50% off for 2Mbps and 7.2Mbps so maybe he signed up for that i guess...

its seems like M1 2mb better speed then the rest 4mb or 7.2mb.

Tested my M1 Mobile Broadband 2Mbps connection in Geylang area.
Surprisingly good.

But on some days, the (DNS) name resolution keep timing out.
Today is one of those better days!

Check my signature for my speedtest results. Stupid forum do not allow me to post images!

Thinking of switching to Starhub to try out the higher 7.2Mbps speed. Thoughts?
