WestGuy got b/w competitor riao...
wizardoz, this phenomenon seems to be standard across all mobile broadband providers at the moment... it always becomes horribly slow in the evenings from 5-7pm onwards until 12-2am... so it'll probably be the same whichever provider you do switch to. For now at least.starhub 3G mobile plan unlimited, very disappointing
1. Provider : Starhub
2. Plan : Starhub Mobile Broadband 2Mbps
3. Area used : Pasir Ris Drive 12, blk 724
4. Max speed attained : download 2.03 Mbs, upload 0.38 Mbs
5. Rating (1-10) : 1
6. SpeedTest link : download 0.53 Mbs, upload 0.26 Mbs, ping 233ms, current results
7. Others : time 11.35pm
Don't blame anybody if you rush to sign up and then realise the 100% speed boost no longer there because they had someone reading the forums. ;pGreat! Just 1 street away from me, thanks WestGuy for the valuable feedback !

I'm in the process of conducting more tests on my M1MBB. I'm suspecting the slowness happens between fixed timings. We'll find out in a few days.
Yeah, I was trying to find out if it's more of a policy/system rules thing, or it's really due to load. Not able to conclude, but it could really be due to load, as during the weekends, the performance is really a bit more erratic.
Why didn't you wait for SITEX? Did you get 50% off? Or you're merely trialing it for 6 months?
Anyway, that's a good speed. Gives me the confidence to consider going for an upgrade to 2Mbps.
