Hows the monitor? Good for BF4? Past few months very busy, no time to follow tech.

Me no buy BF4, because BF3 disappoint me and no time to play MP. I played Crysis 3 on native, Max settings with FXAA, with HUD setting at lowest, it's not that bad, super immersive, and the curve helped alot with side viewing, after awhile it will be "natural"

I've tested a total of 5 sets including replacement. All got serious BLB issues. Have asked for refund which they are processing now.

Mine is a bit on the bottom left and right.. but only from certain angles.. for me is manageable..

Yup normally dell will exchange max up to 5 times and if it's still not satisfied, they will refund as they deem the product isn't up to consumers standard, happened to me a few times on my first few U2713hm.

PS: A question, anyone of you tried connecting both mDP and DP? I'm connecting my desktop DP to monitor mDP, it works fine. But when I try connecting my new laptop Dell new XPS 13 mDP to Monitor DP, it doesn't show anything, my laptop screen just kept flickering. Thanks in advance

I not sure what is blb n then, I went to YouTube and saw the review by someone 2 days ago. Blb means blacklight bleeds, now I know. He solved it by using the DDM, the unit ok after that.

I will be having it tmrw, hopes I wouldn't have much problems. Back to the video.

Can you post the link for the video, please? Thanks.

I think this monitor is not for those fixated in BLB. Mine also got blb but does not bother me at all. The price and size and other qualities easily outweigh the blb I see. It all depends on one tolerance level.

So far I am loving this
Reminds me of 3 * 20'monitor.

Just email Elly_Lim@Dell.com.

I just reply her email to confirm purchase on this, and also the cost to do a wall mount. Hopefully I will get 1 with minimum IPS glow. My current U2713hm is very good without noticible IPS glow due to revised panel in 2014.

PS: Anyone can share where can I do wall mount besides with Dell? Their mounts look quite expensive imo. :o

Saw an article on Digital Life yesterday retailing for $1,499.

Email Elly this morning and she quoted me $1,274 (w/GST), that's $225 cheaper under EPP.

zXioNGz, thanks for the contact :)

My set will be arriving after CNY.

Just checking, does the U3415W works with Gigabyte GTX 750TI graphic card? This card only has 2 DVI & 2 HDMI ports (not sure if it's HDMI 2.0).

At the moment my Dell U2711 is connected to this card via a Dual Link DVI cable.

Thanks.

U3415W has got no DVI port, so U may need some kinda DVI to DP or stick with HDMI.

Based on the monitor user's guide, in order to get 3440 x 1440 @ 60Hz, I'll need a graphics card that supports HDMI 2.0.

I don't think the HDMI ports on my card is 2.0, may be 1.4? As I'm not into gaming, so will I still be able set it at 3440 x 1440 @ 60Hz or I need to step down to 50Hz? Thanks!

Hi guys, just curious about the BLB. Is the BLB focused around the edges of the screen like where the bezels clip onto the panel or is it all over the place? I am quite seriously considering this monitor for gaming and productivity purposes.

Has anyone managed to compare this monitor against the Samsung variant visually? Are the colours really more vibrant on the Dell?
