more express buses?
I take a shuttle bus from the east to the west everyday and I can tell you the experience is not pleasant. The constant moving and braking and the long travel times (90-120mins per trip) should be best described as soul draining.

Actually our 750V systems already dictates that trains can't be faster than 2.5 mins interval. It's a physics limitation. 1500V ones such as the one in NEL in theory may achieve 2 mins intervals...
Actually y cant do like long tutu train...

should have the ability for the train line to do this…
Don't know doable or not
You need to have like secret Thunderbolts base where you can put trains and there's track leading from it connecting to A station

If it connects to Punggol then it makes NO SENSE cos it can't start work at say Hougang MRT station cos it will be blocked by all the full trains before it at Punggol onwards

I realise there's some really really shite bus drivers in Singapore

You don't need to press gas and jam brakes constantly to give passengers a headache

Some like drive so fast and reckless your body keeps moving left and right

At that time though surroundings.of MRT stations aren't that densely populated , if the MRT stations are to last 5 DECADES the Singapore 5 decades later will be very different from then

End result is more people working at those areas or staying there and the frigging small MRT stations cannot handle it

So so stupid

Ok can’t really say bad planning, we really can’t predict very accurate traffic right but we need to leave some room for manoeuvre for situation like this…?

This reminds me

When they were doing the sewer tunnels for London the Chief Engineer Whitey Mcwhite white ordered them.to double the size or made it MASSIVE.
COS he said we can only do it once

Decades or century later , London became frigging massive and he's proven right

Of course that indestructible blob found there made of wet wipes got nothing to do with him

Uhhhhh no?

Cos there was plan for certain areas to have more office, work space
Certain areas to have more flats

I mean the stupidest PS should know 10 million needs to go somewhere

You just know many areas like Serangoon , Bishan, Hougang will be very populated

So, just do it like East West line
You can use the small cutesy trains for first few years cos nobody but years later when there's jam packed crowds, you know there's a problem
