Contacted MR this morning and confirmed my appointment for tomorrow is cancelled, was told that OpenNet cock-up because the cables are not enough for my area and the installation is on hold indefinitely until OpenNet add more lines/cables at their end.
I doubt the reason given by MR because OpenNet will check their resources before they confirm appt., it cannot be OpenNet only go down to the exchange on the installation date a day before just to find that they have no more available connection port. It is likely that MR committed the appt. date themselves 1st in order to grabbed market share and to appease subscribers who are making noise that they are still not on the 1GB connection.
This saga really shows much about MR commitment to their customer and now I am open to another ISP when my contract expired.
haha why not? I find it believable. Opennet kena fined before last year for failing to meet standards. Just like MRT, fine liao can happen again.
