But still too early to tell cos they give us a range instead of exact date. For my case since my contract end towards end of June I can ask them to install on early June. In effect my last 2 months free kena jiak 1 month. OR I can jiak the 2 months free and ask them come after June.

maybe few months down the road things will change, its still a long way.

I discovered another problem .My 1st bill is on 24 Dec 2013 but the signup site states my plans ends at 24-05-2014 I am on the old 59/mth pure plan 24mths with 5 mths free I think?
Does this makes any sense ?They still own me last 2 mths free .I am so confused by their dating system

You better call them up and ask about it. It's a 5mth plan instead of 24mths

Yeah, sharing the same sentiments. I'm also wondering if you are on the Gamer plan, does it mean you will fare better when downloading/streaming/torrenting while gaming online as compared to the Ultra plan?

Router wise, I've decided on the N56U since wired speeds are almost the same compared to the other higher end routers and wireless is not heavily utilized in my family. Current wireless standards can't reach 1Gbps as well.

Currently I am staying in a old 5 room flat so my router location to my room is quite far (8-10m) with 2 walls in between
My router now is a 56U and average speed test is 30-45mbps on the OLD 100mbps pure plan
My question is if I upgrade to the ultra plan , and still have the 56U , what are the chances that my speed increase?
(I am on wireless and have no intention to drill ect.)

Question:In regards to the new 1gbps,I got no contract, is this a limited time offer? But I shifting to new place in 2nd quarter this year,do I sign up now or later?? is this transferable to the new location?

I got static ip and the router is free if I recontract? Can choose router? Can choose edgemax since you are offering for business plans?

Not all gigabit routers can do 1Gbps on wired. Certainly not the N15U. if u want to see 900Mbps+ on wired u got to get the N56U at least.

No free router but got $100 router voucher. If your current router can support up to 1Gbps, then the voucher is useless else you can use it to offset a high end router

Hi MR dudes, tried logging in to sign up for the package but I keep getting the 'Your account cannot be found in the system.' error. Tried resetting the password too but it didn't work. Any advice?

Not much diff since that is the limit of ur router wireless...

I'm in a similar situation too. Want to sign up, but moving house in Q2 2014. Can we still take advantage of the promotion

Depends whether international bandwidth is increased or ping times improved.
For fixed BB , traffic light ISP they always limit all kinds of bandwidth to maximise profits and performance (still better than their crappy overload 3G and 4G network).
A slight improvement in latency would be nice in wireless but we need some speedtest data 1st.

same as your situation. My guess is not much improvement. Not sure whether to upgrade as will be $10 cheaper then my current plan but contract will be extended by another 2 years

i have the same sentiments too. but i have read through previous post by lawzer saying:

does that means we do not need to rush to order now? can anyone confirm this?

According to Lawrence, the special price is limited to first 10,000 NEW subscribers while the existing subscribers are entitled to the special price upon re-contract at anytime.

I think people want to order now is to "secure" an installation slot first.

Gamer if u game online alot and latency affects your gaming experience (like lag and u get mauled)

AC56U or AC68U will depend on your usage on wireless. If u are some fierce downloader one day wanna download few hundreds of gbs then go for the AC68U. If only 50gb or 100gb then AC56U should be enough.

If u have multiple computers doing heavier downloadings and streamings then ac68u should be considered to play safe.
