Wai new 1gbps plan have new network leh? Not just use same network as our current plan but just increase downlink and uplink only? :(

I remember reading that it's not just increasing down and uplink. Else it wouldn't make sense for them to make me wait 6 months for the scheduling. If your current speed is good it won't 100% make sure that 1gbps will be good for you especially with their latency problems.

Does MyRepublic support IPv6 already? If yes, what settings should I set for my ASUS RT56U?
It has Native Static, Native DHCPv6, Tunnel 6in4, Tunnel 6to4, Tunnel 6rd.

My contract is ending on october and i'm confused whether to stick with MR or not after seeing so many complaints on the 1Gbps line. Currently on 100Mbps Pure, so far stable and good for past 2 years.

Off topic : Wheres the old team? Lawzer and the rest? Are they still with MR?

You use com in room, is wifi or lan cable.
Wifi cannot reach 1gbps afaik.

See which is cheaper if it's me, haha, should be a rather large price diff given it's trunking of different TYPE of cables.
ONT in room should be significantly more expensive and not worth it imo.

I think Johnnny mentioned that they were busy helping the CSO team or something and didnt have time to come here

Do trunking for Cat 6. Not advisable to move ONT so far from the TP

I think a cheaper option is to place the ONT in the living room and router in your room, then do trunking of Cat6 cable from living room to your room.

It is much cheaper to pull Ethernet cables than fibre optics cables.

I from Jurong west also! Scheduled for 1gbps next Monday too! Asked them if all these disconnections were related to the upgrade they tell me they don't know :( hope I don't need to spend the weekend without any connection

Hope your installation goes well today! Together we'll suck the Jurong West MR fibre bandwidth dry!! :D

My connection suddenly went down around between 0715-0750. Had to restart the ONT before able to resume service. If its not an ONT fault then it means maintenance had overrun.

Did you manage to monitor if the connection went down before 0715?

I started using around 0800 and realized that my connection is down due to maintenance. I just restart my router and the connection is back. No restart on ONT.
