As there are 2 ports on the NetLink Trust FTP, it's possible to have both RSPs active at once.

And as VQ practices pro rated billing only once your service is up and running, double payment on the VQ side will be very minimal.

Nah, duplicate payment shouldn't stem from VQ's end, but is more of the other ISPs dragging their feet between the time when you give them the instruction to terminate and when they actually do so after VQ is up :s13:

i sign up during the last COMEX 2014 in AUG 2014 i think) because i was greedy for the buy back contract.

after installation date is confirm, i cancel the order a few days later, but was told to pay $297 for the order cancel.

last week they e mail that they will bill me $297 in 11dec.

Hello MR, you take 3 month or more just to take my money just when i cancel my order.

do think about it when you sign up for MR

To be fair, I believe that when MR contact you to confirm the appointment date, you are being told that you will be charged for any cancellation.

TQ for the link. One more question, i sign up for VQ rite now, will they accept my application, go thru with the installation n activation while my MR is still in service?

Yes, just request to install VQ on Port 2 of TP instead of Fibre Takeover.

Fibre Takeover process means reuse Port 1 of TP to install VQ but this requires you to terminate MR first so that MR can release Port 1 before VQ installation.

I have recently terminated my MR and moving over to VQ.

Calling into the MR hotline is relatively painless.

Calls were picked up within 10 mins.

The CS took note of my request to terminate and informed me that she will formward my request to another team that handles termination.

I received a callback on the next day.

Due to non availability of 2nd port resources, I had to do a Fiber Take over.

According to MR CSO, FTO cannot be handover and take over within the same day. So, for my case, there will be a downtime of 5 days from MR termination till VQ activation.

Hope this info helps for bros over here.

FTO was recommend by VQ after they had checked with Opennet and OPennet feedback that 2nd port was not available due to lack of blah blah blah...

I had to call MR to tell them to terminate, else when VQ put up request for FTO, FTO request would be rejected.

My contract was expiring in two weeks time when I called in to request termination.

Wanna ask a somewhat stupid question. Lets says im on the 24th month of my contract. My billing starts on the 3rd and i have already paid up on the 6th by GIRO. If on the 25th i decides to end contract, am i still liable to pay for the termination fee? or die die must wait till 2nd of next mth?
