They didn't give any special promos to existing UNO customers. Reception is quite bad too.

Myrepublic does not seem to respond to the competition. Other MNO and MVNO has responded to latest promos. There they are still stuck in $35/mth for 8GB. Only good thing is that they provide 1k sms and 1k mins.

No idea, but that 1k sms and mins is good for my mother's usage though. For her it's just whatsapp, so with UNO $8 no need to worry about anything exceeding at all, which is perfect for her usage. but for most other consumers, their plans doesn't seem enticing at all.

so how's myrepublic mobile for the current subscribers. been using it for a few months and data has not been seamless for me. i work in the city and live in central and there are a number of times that my video streaming is not that great. i was with singtel previously and i never had this issue.

Facing the same exact issue as you. Stay in central and mostly in the town or cbd area. But my experience so far has been that at most places in sg it has been nothing but disappointing.

I can’t watch a YouTube or Facebook video without it buffering within the first 5-10sec.

I guess i will switch back to Singtel, eventhough i have huge data allowance with MR, it chokes once in a while, not good.

It seems that myrepublic network is much slower than singtel which i came from. Thinking of going back to m1 or singtel....

Nope. There is no volte. Sometimes I do not receive any calls or missed calls. People claimed they called me, but I did not see any missed call.

I rather you sign up with other telco and add-on unlimited talk time add-on. How many mins per month do you require? M1 do have 50% promo for talktime add-on.

Around 400 mins or so. Am re-looking at M1 and SH now.

If you are from other telco, take note m1 has port in promo, you get additional 800mins free talktime. Total you get 900mins talktime and you need not pay. So it's just $20/mth

Yup, sometimes. People whatsapp me said that he called me, but when I checked missed calls, there isn't any. That period of time was crucial as I was finding jobs

don't think there is network lock for MR. Must make sure you manually select their preferred roaming partner..
