How is the throttled speed?

About 3-4 weeks ago, mobile data experienced intermittent on and off in the tunnel along north-east-line. Later, no signals at all on nel. Today, no signals in both nel and circle line.

Anyone experience same problem?

Ok thanks for feedback. My M1 unlimited plan throttled speed is 1mbps.... very slow in my opinion...

If I'm not wrong, myrepublic is slower than 1mbps for throttled data. Can't remember if its .3 or .5mbps

throttled speed is 256 Kbps. enough for whatsapp voice call and messaging, but don't even attempt to use instagram or youtube with that speed.

anyway, 6 GB for $10 ... sign me up!!!

Sometimes even sending WhatsApp messages is tough with throttled speed.

But good that they increased it to 6GB. This is more than UNO plan upgraded. I'm still using UNO plan though

hahaha super old school.. im on UNO plan as well but highly likely switching to lite plan... for extra $2 more 6gb more data... can’t utilize the 1000mins call as well.

was considering giga! but i don’t like the idea of paying for extra data charges as the throttled speed of MR still minimally able to send whatsapp msg and check gmaps..

Don't so fast. Yesterday, I saw quite a handful of comments on MR facebook commenting on the new plans. Many users are asking if UNO plan can be converted to the Lite Plan.

In one of the comment, I saw MyRepublic replied to a user that they are working something out for UNO users.
So we should stay tuned.

yesterday I was told uno8 cannot change to Lite plan ...hopefully something could be done on it.

Yup, UNO plan cannot be switched to Lite. But hang it there, MR is cooking something up for UNO users. I saw it in one of the replied comments from MyRepublic.

i just enquired with one of their agents on their live chat.

asked them if we could retain our current number if we were to sign up for the lite plan and they said it’s not possible atm.

but yup, the agent did mentioned they are working out on this process.

Hopefully, they can up UNO 1GB limit to at least 3GB
