MR is using Starhub network. So expect Starhub network quality. So far so good, much improved than when it first launched.

depends, I would probably wait for TPG to finish installing their networks in underground tunnels. Probably, by then, other MVNO and MNO will react to TPG new price plans.

Who know's TPG might even launch at cheaper plan like UNO. Maybe $8 for 20GB

My mum is using the Uno $8 plan since it launched hopefully mr dun phase out this plan. Hard to come by such plan with 1000mins talk time at this pricing.

I checked with MR CS and they say they don't charge delivery fee and registration fee, and they only deduct once the SIM is activated? So technically, I don't have to pay anything during checkout?

Don't so fast. Yesterday, I saw quite a handful of comments on MR facebook commenting on the new plans. Many users are asking if UNO plan can be converted to the Lite Plan.

In one of the comment, I saw MyRepublic replied to a user that they are working something out for UNO users.
So we should stay tuned.

yesterday I was told uno8 cannot change to Lite plan ...hopefully something could be done on it.

Yup, UNO plan cannot be switched to Lite. But hang it there, MR is cooking something up for UNO users. I saw it in one of the replied comments from MyRepublic.

I asked MR the same question. They replied the new Lite plan is for new sign ups only.

My only complaint, which is just me being picky, is the numbers offered are not that nice imo

ya, and also CL and Zero1. They offer more varieties of numbers. Some MVNOs only offer consecutive numbers with the same abcd in front
